Not what I was expecting.
I am taking the good EEG and okay blood pressure as a Omen, if I survived a "you should have died"
cardiac
arrest
I am going to be okay with the biopsy.

Ablation recovery
My husband had a cardiac ablation 10 days ago . On discharge he wasn't given any information other than rest. We don't know what recovery looks like? He is extremely tired after just a little bit of exertion eg he folded up his clothes and tidied his wardrobe yesterday, calmly, slowly. And was then exhausted

Periodic episodes of fluctuating tachycardia while in AFib.
Never had any heart problems until early 2020. I'm a rather robust yet strong guy , late 40s. I suspect COVID may have had something to do with it. Never vaccinated either..went to e.r after having AFib for 16 hrs. Was blacking out at work. Thought I was going to die. Spent 2 days in hospital. Echocardiogram

are you sticking with riveroxaban or asking to change to Apixaban in light of recent research?
after heart attack,
cardiac
arrest
leaving me in continuous AFib for 3 months requiring a cardio version ( heart attack caused by blood clot cholesterol normal) I’ve been on all the heart medications including riveroxaban with no real problems from the medications.

Feeling low after stopping meds.
Hi all, I have had AF for 13 years following death of first husband. Have been on a beta blocker for that long, and then flecainide was added about 7 years ago. I had a cardiac ablation in October 22. After 4 months I came off flec slowly over 5 weeks then stopped metoprolol . It is now 5 weeks

No more multiple PVCs after daily sauna
I went into
cardiac
arrest
almost 2 years ago when I was rapid afib. I now have a pacemaker defibrilator. Thanks to my diet, rich in potassium and magnesium, I have been afib free most of the time. Though at times I still had multiple PVC's, bigeminy usually at lunch time.

Afib/Flutter/Palps - Ross procedure.
it may be worth noting that I had a
cardiac
arrest
in the may due to deterioration of heart health in the May 2022. Has anyone else experienced these after surgery ? Will they ever go away? Or is it just the norm now? thanks x

Local Anaesthetic with bisoprolol - for non dental surgical procedures.
It was only afterwards that I read the NICE guidelines that lidocaine can produce a severe reaction with bisoprolol and can cause
cardiac
arrest
, so isn’t to be given. I asked what anaesthesia it would be for this next procedure and was told I’d be given lidocaine again.

APS Symptoms
I’m lost and no one seems to be able to tell me I have no idea which symptoms are related to which condition (you may remember I have long QT a rare genetic heart condition and many meds could cause a heart attack/
cardiac
arrest
) So I have: Migraines. Pains in head (I think are micro clots).

URGENT ADVICE - Challenge Doctors
ICU doctors are refusing to give my father further treatment & stated if he deteriorates they will not get involved as they believe he will not wake up from his coma but he has only been out of sedation for 13 days following a
cardiac
arrest
. He is not brain dead but has hypoxia brain injury.

”Aggressive” AF
The last ablation was in June then in July, I had a
cardiac
arrest
in Crete (apparently unrelated to AF). I now have an ICD fitted but AF is debilitating me.

Cardiac Arrest recovery
A year ago I had a C/A ,you don’t feel any pain you just collapse. Woke up three days later in hospital, I had tubes in places that I did not know I had. A year on and my recovery is almost there , I still get very tired quickly. The care and attention that I received in hospital was the best and has

Tikosyn (Dofetilide)?
Apparently it is less toxic in the long run than Amiodarone, but it requires three-days in the hospital at the outset to monitor no adverse reactions (which can include
cardiac
arrest
).

Anaemia or CLL? Time for re-referral?
Well...... over the past 3 years my wife has suffered Covid, Shingles, breast cancer and a
cardiac
arrest
in that order. Very traumatic, especially for a fitness ‘guru’.
