what should i doo???
That's a mind game. You can take the ER route and go through that whole process only to be told your fine and there is nothing wrong with your heart or you can try to understand that that's this is just yoy beyond hypersensitive to your inner feelings. Iknow it's easier said than done but understanding this is a mental issue and not a physical one. This is just my opinion and please don't think I'm being harsh or insensitive. I've been there before many, many times. Ihave hombre to the ER convinced that there is something wrong with me and always told that I'm fine. I've you've never gone to the ER I always advise that you do it all lready once just for peace of mind... but Yoy need to address the root cause.
Go to the ER. I've had to do that several times before just to get myself answers and hear from someone qualified what's going on.
I agree it helps knowing that your ok from a medical professional, but honestly I've been to the e.r and countless doctors and they all.say I'm.fine. now I'm working with a therapist and digging deep to get to the root and learning some coping skills so that I canget through the panic without wanting to go to the hospital. Keep your head up!
when today to tierd
Johnnie if it is still going on you do need to listen to the others and get yourself over to the ER and if too tired, at least call you doctor. We are not doctors, we can only go by what we have experienced ourselves.
You are wearing yourself down. You need some sleep as well as reassurance.
Johnnie, I'm calling it a night and will be off the forum.
You are in good hands on here. Know tht you have the support
and everyone cares about you. Wishing you a Goodnight. I hope
you feel better tomorrow morning.
If you have not been seen for this you should get it checked. A lot of factors can affect your heart rhythm. Diet, activity, stress, anxiety, fear etc. It’s quite common for people with severe anxiety to feel hiccups in their heart. Flutters, premature beats etc. It could also be indigestion. Without knowing your history and knowing you are at rest if not treated before I truly think it warrants a trip to the ER or the doctor at least. Being otherwise asymptomatic I may lean towards anxiety but without doing a full exam I have no way of knowing. I know my anxiety causes that for me. I’ve been through the whole cardiac workup and experience to be able to know the difference along with nursing school and caring for my parents and patients.
It’s always better to be safe than sorry with cardiac matters. For me it is the absence of other symptoms that has me considering anxiety. When we get really tired we are less able to control our emotions and anxiety as we are during the day.
I hope you get the answers you need to be comfortable. If you choose not to go make a note of duration and symptoms to discuss with your doctor at your earliest convenience. We don’t know you or your history etc.
i saw cardiologist like 6 months ago or a year ago he said my heart is fine to not worry that it is a little fast but i shouldnt worry at all but now that i havent seen a docter it changed now its beating wierd and also i have appointment with cardiologist the 10th for stressecho something like thst so i can ses what he says about what im ssying here
That’s great! I think you will be able to find great comfort in the test results. Anxiety does cause a higher heart rate. Relaxing helps so that’s great! Obviously if things get worse get it checked but since your feeling much better it sure sounds like what is common with anxiety. Of course new “heart” feelings are scary. The problem is getting anxious makes it worse. I try to tell myself when it happens very frequently a casual, this stupid anxiety is at it again” and go about my business as usual. I know how hard that can be. I’ve got years of practice. Along with a couple admissions for cardiac work up, nursing school and 14 years in cardiac ICU and years on rescue squad.
Be safe. Try to refocus. Relax and take deep conscious breaths slowly in and out.
In case of emergency always remember it’s better to be safe than sorry.
Much love!
Do you drink alot of caffeine? How is your diet? Are you taking medicine to help with your anxiety?
Everyone has heart palpitations from time to time. When we are anxious we tend to concentrate on them more and have them more often. Even when you think your not anxious, you just might be.
I have had what you are feeling for the past almost 2 years. Like you I have seen a cardiologist and my heart is fine. You have to get control of the problem you have been diagnosed with.. anxiety. You have not been diagnosed with a-fib and your not going to go into cardiac arrest.
Please make an appointment with your GP to try and find something that helps with your anxiety before it takes you over 😕🙁 take care
it kept happening lastnight and i just fell asleep and i woke up good im not feeling that anymore it was scary though i just fell asleep and it stoped and i woke good this morning
Johnnie, I'm glad to hear that you are better this morning. It just proves that when you relax, your body settles down, your mind is calm and the adrenaline lowers. Stay well.
yeah i guess my body just need to be more calm and take nap because the more it happend the more i stay focus on it
