Thanks to those of you who messaged me asking how Lucy’s surgery went. In short, it was awful. She suffered a cardiac arrest the day after her surgery as the stress was too much for her little heart and the incredible team at the Royal Brompton Hospital performed CPR on her for 40 minutes, and then managed to get her on to ECMO, which is a heart and lung bypass machine. She was on ECMO for 6 nerve-wracking days and then they weaned her off it, she then developed a pneumothorax (collapsed lung). All told she was in Intensive Care for 21 days. Incredibly, she made a rapid recovery once the worst was over and we were discharged just in time for Christmas. It was a living hell but we are through it and she is looking stronger every day - this pic is 2 days ago. Hopefully now we can look forward to the future with our little superstar. Continued positive vibes to everyone in their journeys to become parents. Xx

Oh, my God, little baby has to face so many pain but I am happy that she is alright now. The brave daughter of a brave and strong mother. She was discharged on Christmas, what a beautiful gift for you on that special day. It's hard when your baby is sick and even worst when he /she is in such a critical situation. I wish and pray for her not to face any problem in future. You and your hubby always remain happy with lucy. Have a wonderful and pleasant time ahead with your baby and forget all the past days and situations that occurred to her. God has given her a new life. Just be thankful for HIM for granting a new life to your baby. You have faced all the problems regarding her health. I pray for her long, happy, healthy and wealthy life ahead. My lots of love and kisses for a little angel. Keep smiling always.
Heyyya! I'm so sorry about your cancer. You must be very strong that you're dealing with it. Moreover, I'm so happy that you came here for an advice about it. Well, I haven't experienced it but my cousin does. She had Carbo and Caelyx for the 2nd line and found it much better than carbo/taxol. It is a four weekly infusion which seems to be so much better for recovery and 'normal life.' After the first session, she had a bad sickness. Since then she has been given different anti-sickness drugs and although she feels very nauseous for a few days she has been through. Most people say that carbo/ toxyl is better by calyx is much better. Well, I think you shouldn't get confused in this. Every person has a different methodology. Everyone has a different internal condition. It's not same for everyone. And your doctor knows about your condition the best. So follow his advice. If he's saying that you should have carbo/ toxyl chemo then he must have gone through your case. So don't get yourself confused over this okay? Keep yourself calm and just stay strong. I hope that this helped you. Stay happy and healthy.
I am so sorry to read what all this little angel has to go through. I wish her a speedy and complete recovery. She looks so adorable in this picture. She is really a superstar. I hope she is doing much better now. Keep updating us on her progress.Lots of prayers and love for this little angel.
Gracious, my God, little infant needs to confront such a significant number of torment, however, I am glad that she is okay at this point. The overcome little girl of an overcome and solid mother. She was released on Christmas, what a lovely present for you on that unique day. It's hard when your child is wiped out and even most exceedingly terrible when he/she is in such a basic circumstance. I wish and appeal to God for her not to confront any issue in future. You and your hubby dependably stay content with lucy. Have an awesome and wonderful time ahead with your infant and overlook all the previous days and circumstances that jumped out at her. God has given her another life. Simply be grateful for HIM for conceding another life to your child. You have confronted every one of the issues with respect to her wellbeing. I petition God for her long, upbeat, solid and affluent life ahead. My heaps of adoration and kisses for a little heavenly attendant. Continue grinning dependably.
