Panic Attack
I went to a dermatologist last week to have a cyst removed from my shoulder, and as usual Roman, my husband, came with me. The nurse took us back to the exam room and told us that Roman would not be able to stay with me during the procedure. She then went on about aftercare of which I heard nothing.

Vitamin D metabolism in cancer: potential feasibility of vitamin D metabolism blocking therapy
Briefly, high intake of
calcium
will reduce access; fructose will increase access. In my case, I do not use
calcium
supplements & I sweeten my coffee with fructose. -Patrick [1] https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/36749415/ [2] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CYP24A1

My Story
She also ordered a 24-hour urine test to check my creatinine and
calcium
, I believe. She also prescribed gabapentin and a muscle relaxant. I took the 100 mg. gabapentin at bedtime as she prescribed for 4 nights, but I stopped. It didn’t seem to help and I don’t want to keep adding more drugs.

I will also take iron tablets, with orange juice, an hour before breakfast so on an empty stomach, then I can take my
calcium
tablets mid morning without them interfering with the iron absorption, is that correct?

Collagen Peptide supplements and bone quality
There are a series of things that can be done -- 1, Get a DEX scan now 2, Supplement with
Calcium
, K2, D3 and magnesium 3, Have your MO or whoever put you on BMD medication (eg denosumab, et al) Now comes the question.

Calcium and other bone needs
Decided not to take the 500 g of
calcium
built into the triple pill containing K2 and D3. It was also a huge pill which is off putting. I’ve purchased the K2 and D3 combination but picked a separate one for the
calcium
which contains 250 g.

Is anyone with CKD on Clonidine b/p drug?
First he gave me a
calcium
channel blocker that just didnt work, and then switched me to clonidine 1 mg. This really works, and I keep track of my b/p every day, and found it works best if I take it every other day. The side effects are such that I cant take it every day, no way.

Bones Absorbing Calcium
Does anyone know if there is a test to take to know how well or if our bones are absorbing the
calcium
we eat and
calcium
supplements we take? Does testing
calcium
in the blood tell us how much
calcium
our bones are absorbing ?

Same medicine, different brand?
I take a
calcium
channel blocker called Vera-Til SR 120mg, also known as Verapamil however, this particular brand is currently out of stock and I have been given an alternative which is Half Securon SR.

Anybody with bradycardia (low heart rate)
However, it also occurs to me that the the CALR mutation also messes with
calcium
homeostasis. It seems possible to me that this could also have an effect on heart rate and pattern.

has anyone heard of Brillia and S100B protein?
This protein is an important regulator of many different intracellular and extracellular brain processes, e.g. various enzymes activities,
calcium
homeostasis, communication between neurons, etc.
