Help! Doctor has refused my Pred repeat request.
Is it because on my regular blood tests I have just been found to have excess parathyroid hormone (10.5) which I believe takes
calcium
from your bones and I have osteoporosis?

Question regarding Iodine
I have low blood
calcium
, and parathyroid issues, so I have no choice but to take
calcium
. I have been taking plant based
calcium
from seaweed because I heard it is better for you. But I am now concerned about the iodine. I take 2 tablets daily which equates to 0.0088350mg of iodine.

Third ablation, beta blocker change or something else?
After speaking to the nurses, we switched on the 27th Jan to a
calcium
beta blocker, Adizem 90mg slow release twice daily. Prior to that I was getting an episode of AFib weekly, which has continued and actually got worse. At the moment I am seemingly getting a daily episode.

Seeing endo unexpectedly and have private blood test on the way!!!
But because I pointed out endo was going to see me in a year and it was now 18m and parathyroid blood test hadn't been done properly last time (I have high
calcium
) I asked her to write to endo (Southmead, Bristol) to see about getting it done properly and I've just had a call to arrange an appointment

Can anyone please recommend a good non acidic vitamin C (

Hold on BiTE study
He was low on fluids, iron,
calcium
, and a number of other things and was too nauseous to eat or drink almost anything. Everyday his blood numbers dropped till his hemoglobin was 6.7 and they transfused him with two units of blood.

Does biopsy help? Appreciate any feedback or personal experience.
Currently I am ARB's(40 mg) and
Calcium
channel blockers(antihypertensive drug 5 mg). I dont know if its worth getting it done or not. Trying to avoid a procedure unless its needed. Potential suspect: IGA nephropathy.

Looking for advice after recent chest pain.
I was referred to the chest pain clinic and the nurse wants to repeat the CT Angiography because of the
calcium
score and mild LAD atheroma finding from 2018. My questions are: How bad is a
calcium
score of 6 with mild LAD atheroma? How much would it have progressed in 4 years?

Gray area between aggressive contained and Mestasized
I am on Prolia as a medicine to minimize the loss of
calcium
from my bones and limit any deposition in my heart vessels. I checked with my cardiologist and dentist. The Prolia tends to exacerbate infections you might have, especially dental infections.

Result - I went straight for a hip X-ray, booked in blood tests for
calcium
and Vitamin D levels, the doctor is referring me to a rheumatologist and gave clear and concise instructions for painkillers and Pred. At last someone had listened and acted. Our relief was phenomenal.

Simulation
I had my markers and spaceoar placed last week and have an appointment for my simulation tomorrow. The valium helped with my procedure last week-I wish I had taken some before the biopsy. Will I need to take something before the simulation, or is it pain free?

Update 7.4
Now on for a CT Cardiac
Calcium
Screen, Cardiac Stress test, and Echocardiogram. The incidents of tachycardia have actually been decreasing but we are going to do a more thorough check of cardiac status due to the occasions unexplained mild tachypnea I have experienced recently.

Turning things around
I dont need any medication but he has advised to take
calcium
for my bones due to my age(I’m 58) and all I now need is a routine ultrasound scan in around 6 months time, possibly with a follow up telephone appointment.
