Severe RLS Where do I go now?
Hi! I've been lurking reading your posts for a couple of years. I live in Sweden and am a 58 yo female and have severe burning RLS without PLMD. Here's a condensed version of my story: July 2011 Laminectomy C4-C5. no real slide effects except nerve pain in right index finger which I've learned to block

The GP repeated all the tests for ferritin, B12, intrinsic clotting factor, vitamin D,

ADT duration for high risk with Cribriform
Taking lots of supplements (
Calcium
, Vitamin D etc), working out and I have a great pescatarian diet. I’m “lower high risk”. See biopsy results below. T2A, T2B. Low PSA, never above 7.0. I did SBRT in July 2023. PSA was .05 three months post SBRT (October) and .01 as of March 2024.

How much is too much D3
There’s evidence that it’s ‘safe and well tolerated’ I went to see my bone consultant today, he wasn’t impressed by me taking this amount but my
calcium
level is good and my dexa results have gone from -2.6 to -2.1 in 2 years I also take k2 and magnesium , which , is hopefully getting the d3 to

The 40 Hz flickering light restores synaptic plasticity and mitochondrial phenotype in experimental model of Alzheimer's disease May 2024
Additionally, flickering 40 Hz white light elevated the levels of mitochondrial metabolites and the current and possible opening of the mitochondrial
calcium
-sensitive potassium (mitoBKCa) channel which were significantly downregulated in AD rat neurons.

One year ago, my spasticity was so severe I took too many Baclofen tablets at the same time, that I almost died! Now I take 1 Tizanidine at bedtime. I also have a small notebook I keep next to all the muscle-relaxing pills and log in what I take to make sure I never overdose on muscle relaxing drugs

Early 50s male, healthy till hypothyroidism my first few months experience of treatment
Avoid foods with
calcium
in (milk, cheese etc) when first eating as it messes up the medicine intake. Possible side effects: heart palpitations, anxiety, agitation, involuntary movements etc possibly in first few weeks.

Am I getting enough calcium and should I take a supplement
Doctors have never mentioned I have a lack of
calcium
. I’ve bought a triple supplement that covers
calcium
, K2 and D vitamins. I have yet to start taking. If you have too much
calcium
it’s also not good. Have we caused our osteoporosis by not getting enough
calcium
for many years.

My Mom needs heart surgery & I'm a terrified, 47 yr old baby
I feel so selfish. My MOM is the one who needs her aortic valve replaced, not me. But here I am, terrified of the upcoming surgery. Terrified of how terrified I'll be. Why can't I reframe my thinking? Why can't I look at this as this will save her?! Quick background: I'm 47, female, never married, no
