hi currently in A&E with what looks like cardiac asthma. I thought it was bronchial asthma when I came in but the team here think it is heart related. Any others on here have experience of this?
I initially had AF which persisted for three months until cardio version, 2 years ago. Since then have been on calcium channel blockers, Apiaxaban and flecannide. Had an episode of AF a month ago. Used flecannide as pip and that returned me to NSR. Since then I have struggled with breathlessness (have posted about this recently) and then in the last four days I thought I had a chest infection leading to asthma. But my breathing, wheezing and coughing did not respond to my asthma meds. So I came into hospital for help. Been here many hours now and waiting for results of X-ray and bloods. Legs swollen.
