My MPN family need help/advice for natural way to treat minor Osteoporosis.
I am considering to take
calcium
and if you could suggest dosage and a very good one (brand). Did anyone had this experience, medicine for it and how did that went? I have contacted my MPN team and waiting for replay. Please advise. Wishing you well.

Atrial fibrillation now as well!
So I forgot one of my questions which concerned a
Calcium
Blocker (Bisprolol) that A&E prescribed and how does that work with Risedronate and daily Adcal?

Long Term Avoidance of calcium
At my last GP blood test the
calcium
number was 'normal' but I understand that this only gives a number for the
calcium
in the blood. Other blood results are normal.

Calcium without sweeteners
Does anyone know of a
calcium
/D3 supplement without sucrose or other artificial sweeteners which a GP will prescribe? There are plenty of over-the-counter products but I haven't been able to identify one which my GP is happy to prescribe.

Anyone taking Anticoagulants for AF, together with Alendronic Acid for Osteoporosis?
Alendronic Acid can help osteoporosis, together with taking
calcium
and vitamin D. Is anyone else on here taking Atorvastatin and Alendronic Acid as I've read that taking both can interact with each other. Lily

problems post SVT ablation
Did you end up taking a
calcium
channel blocker for a few weeks and then find you could come off it and live your life SVT free? How could you tell if things were settling down if you were on new medication? I am not asking for medical advice. I am just interested in people's experiences.

Fallout from PET/CT Scan
The report shows a very high
calcium
score of 1609 and significant calcification in multiple arteries. One artery is showing severe stenosis 70% to 80%. The cardiologist is sending me to the Cath lab for angiogram. The CT scan also shows the precarinal lymph node of size 10 by 8 mm.

Osteoporosis and Levothyroxine
I have been supplementing with
calcium
and Vit D3/K2 for years. I have to make a routine GP appointment, no doubt that will take weeks. My TSH has always been on the low suppressed side.

Guess what? Your body has changed and will never be the same.
I take a
calcium
tablet with vitamin D and magnesium. I eat good but if I want a cookie, I eat it. I also drink a lot of milk. I work on my farm hard everyday. When I’m tired or fatigued, I keep moving. I read my Bible every morning and spend time in prayer.

Dexa scan normal but wedge fractures anyway!!
I have been taking
calcium
citrate, D3 and K2 (which I learnt about form here) since the start of my PMR. I will add that because of the problems with my low back I have for years been unable to do any significant exercise, so would suggest that any of you who can, DO.

Thei
calcium
D3, 880iu. I won't go into all her medical history but what she rang me for is the fact she is running continually to the toilet with very loose stools. Can anybody decipher the above. - no MK 7 with D3.

Answer's at last for my deficiency.
Some of you will know I have both hypothroidism together with hypoparathyroidism The letter gave my throid results which were all in range but my
calcium
was low. I have to take
calcium
supplements due to the hypopara issue which are prescribed.

Calcium, vitamin D and protein
Recently someone posted about an article on the benefit of taking extra protein alongside
calcium
and vitamin D supplements. I am going to check my own diet to see how much protein I take. As I'm in my 70s I thought I didn't need as much but now I'm wondering ... the article makes a lot of sense.
