Not sure if this info matters, but I do have regulated hypothyroid and am on NP thyroid. And calcium has always been normal, around 9.
Any time I take calcium supplements I get a bad headache and kinda feel loopy/confused…anyone know why or experience similar? It’s hard to find any info on it. So now I’m drinking mineral water to try and get my minerals, it’s causing trouble sleeping, hot all the time which is opposite bc I’m usually alway cold, and restless legs. Any ideas?

Why were you taking calcium supplements if your calcium has always been 'normal'? Do you have a range for that result of 9?
Calcium supplements are really a bad idea unless you absolutely have to take them. They are badly absorbed and can build up in the arteries and soft tissues. Far, far better to get calcium from food - and please don't say that you don't eat dairy, because dairy is not the only source of calcium.
You feel unwell when you take calcium supplements because you don’t need them, if your level is normal you shouldn’t be pushing it higher with excess supplements.
I have hypoparathyroidism which is treated with calcium. I heartily discourage taking calcium unless there is a clinical need, the long term damage really isn't worth it. The effects you are experiencing sound like your body telling you somethings up. Similar to what I experience when I'm crashing, listen to your body. If your levels are fine then no need to supplement. Calcium can be obtained from lots of food, like broccoli, spinach etc.
