I Lost 10 Babies In Miscarriages and Stillbirth
I was four when my parents discovered that my genotype is SS. As an adolescent growing up with Sickle Cell Disease, finding a man that would marry me was my greatest worry. I met my husband in 2007 after the completion of my first degree. I confirmed that his genotype is AA before I became committed.

Slow recovery
Hi All- I live in the US and have been struggling with ppp for about 8 months. It was originally misdiagnosed as ppd and I suffered a long time because of this. I had an emergency c section, developed an autoimmune disease at 6 weeks postpartum and then became convinced my daughter had an autoimmune

No sex drive at all - could this be endo causing it?
I know this has been mentioned before, so - sorry to repeat previous posts. I am on a waiting list for a lap due to a lump that has grown and grown over the last 3-4 years on my belly button, in fact there are 2 if not 3 lumps there now, which are devilishly tender during my period and ovulation. I

Problem in passing urine after undergoing 35 cycles of radiation in pelvis area.
I had TURP in Oct 2016 & as bleeding was not coming under control had radiation. Now I have problem in passing urine. Is this expected after radiation? Will it improve with time. Can someone share his experience on this ?

Sometimes even one little piece of information is the missing bit in the jigsaw puzzle of AF which makes attempting

Screening mothers who give birth via cesarean may reduce vertical transmission of HCV
Many people oppose C-sections in comparison to natural birth, but would opinions change if C-sections provide health benefits to newborns? A recent study has shown that mothers who give birth via cesarean may reduce vertical transmission of HCV to their newborns. http://bit.ly/2gpbOLD

Living in the Shadow
In the spring of 1997 I had completed my first triathlon sprint. I was young and fit and full of life! I was living alone and woke up a week after the event feeling fine. At work, a headache began as did a sharp pain in my back. By the end of the day I was hardly able to walk home. That night I went

TURP for BHP - removes the prostate from the inside out
It seems like this would be generally useful, unless one hopes to rehabilitate the prostate and heal it. TURP leaves the surrounding tissue in place, and leaves the "capsule" of the prostate in place, but there is no question it is "debulking", and apparently it is thought of as a minor surgery. Why

Duplex system
Hey. I'm looking for some replies from people with knowledge or experience of having a duplex system and being symptomatic of it. For years I assumed I had damaged my kidneys from my bulimia and laxative abuse days. Now I know that my kidneys play up because I have a duplex system. The exact words used
