Am I feeling normal or is this a new normal?
I find it difficult to comprehend what I went through 4 months ago. I had a cesarean section complication under general aneastetic which ended in me heamoraging twice, losing 3.8 litres of blood, 7 blood transfusions while on the operating table to keep my blood up and an induced coma and ventilated

Hello, I've just joined as I'm seeking an Endometriosis diagnosis and wondered if there's any tips or advice! I have always had "heavy periods" but they became incredibly severe after having my daughter via C -Section in 2009. I went on the mini pill for several years and my periods disappeared, but

Being Brave and Talking
Hello, firstly let me say how brave it is to openly speak about a very uncomfortable illness. Not only does it affect your body it affects your way of life, your personality and your mental health and it's exhausting because you can't see it from the outside! I have severe endometriosis and I have not

We have a c section date!
So surreal to think we now have her birthday date! Unless she decides she’s coming earlier 💗 Feeling very overwhelmed this last couple of weeks trying to get things done. To think that in 6wks she will be in our arms is absolutely crazy and so exciting. Over 8yrs of wanting to hold our baby it will

Can my baby be teething at ten weeks old?
My baby was born via c section & was 8.6lbs she had white buds on some of her top teeth when born. Now I have noticed she’s sucking her hands a lot and dribbling a lot more than usual. Is this a sign of teething?

“SENSITIVE” lovely news for those following my ivf journey over 40
I know I’m connected with a lot of women trying to make ivf happen and I just wanted to add some hope for those waiting for their little miracle, especially those over 40. Here’s mine. Alice Daisy, born 9th June at. 7lb 9 when I was 41 weeks plus two. Even the birth journey was hard. I went in for induction

VBAC after c section 9 months ago
Any experiences of VBAC? I had a baby 9 months ago and I am not pregnant again. The babies will be 16 months apart. I had an emergency c section after being induced. I'm really confused as to whether I should have VBAC or c section as the midwife said it was fine!

*Sensitive* He’s finally here - but now we have to have him over to the surgeons 💔 UPDATED
UPDATE 3.6.22: I just wanted to say a massive thank you so much for all of the kind messages and words of support 🙏. Our beautiful boy survived 5.5 hours of open heart surgery on Wed. We we were told by the surgeons that “it went smoothly”, which was a huge relief. However, it is still very early days

Post 45 natural birth or c-section
Has anyone had a natural birth at 45 weeks or older? I am flip flopping between natural or c-section. I like the stressless safety that c-section offers my baby and the fact that it pretty much rules out an emergency c-section which I want to avoid at all costs… and then I think of the fact that natural

Help, please!
Hi, there! I am a first time mum and I am here after some advice about pumping colostrum before c-section. My midwife recommended to start but I cannot do it. I tried with a manual pump and with my hand, and nothing came out from my breasts. I really want to breastfeed my baby boy. Is that means that

Here to give some hope
My gorgeous baby boy was delivered via C-section last Monday. After 1 full round of IVF and 4 transfers, this man was our last embryo and wow are we happy he stuck! I never once managed to enjoy pregnancy as was so scared he wouldn’t make it, despite no signs whatsoever of trouble. I hope for everyone

Week 7 Run 3 Tomorrow - New to Forum
Hi everyone. I’m new to the forum and wanted to say hello. This is my somewhat unknown numbered attempt at C25K. I started running in 2010, did C25K and completed so I could do race for life, which was great. My FIL was running and doing 10k so I stepped up the training and did 10k in 2011. In 2012

Pink discharge 5 days after period
Since having my son 6 months ago every time I have a period the week after I get a lot of clear discharge with tiny bloody streaks. Mainly on a morning when I go for the first toilet. Today was pink like this in the pic but had nothing for the rest of the day. Anyone else have anything like this I has

We are so very nearly there! (C section booked for next week) Then our new challenge begins - trying so hard to be hopeful! 🤞🙏💙
Just a little update from me for anyone still following our (very long) journey so far! We have been TTC for 8 years now. 6 fresh cycles, 7 transfers & multiple losses later and we are finally booked to have a c section next week. I cannot quite believe it. It is a time of total mixed emotions right

Surgery but without general anesthesia due to PD
I’m Wondering if anyone has had a surgery that usually requires general anesthesia but instead with just local anesthesia? Due to PD, I really do not want to be “put under.” Hard to share this but I am inquiring with doctors soon and would appreciate advice. My online search for this did not turn
