Caesarean section

My gynaecologist says it’s because of adenomyodis post c-section but I have noticed that my periods are much worse when T4 gets lower so I’m not convinced that adenomyosis is the culprit here. Any insights in these results would be much appreciated.

We went in for an induction and ended up having a C-section, and although it took us a little bit of time to get out of the hospital because he had jaundice, we are now home and my heart is finally full.

I'm not really sure what my question is, I'd just really like to avoid a c-section if possible but I know inductions can increase the chance of needing one, but I can't see labour starting earlier than 12th april on its own given that would only make me 38+5.

All three of her children were delivered by c section. She has always had bad periods but recently things have ramped up with the bleeding becoming much heavier. Her doctors did a hysteroscopy and found fibroids and adenomyosis.

I am very happy to tell God has blessed us with beautiful baby girl on 18/02 via emergency c-section. They induce me at 40 weeks but things dint progress well so need to do c-section. Well it’s been very long and hard journey physically, emotionally, financially but still very happy at the end.

My doctor has suggested a mirena coil during the c-section but I’m not too sure about it. Any suggestions will be appreciated

In this case, for the fetus, a planned cesarean section (CS) is considered a better choice than a planned vaginal birth, since, comparing the two modes, perinatal mortality is slightly reduced with CS [1,2,3,4]. However, CS for breech also presents some risks.

But know I can't safely have a 3rd c section. Might take a long time to conceive. Am getting older etc etc. My husband days no. So it's the best decision. Just don't want to sign for it. Will have coil out then and take diametrium

As I write this I still can’t believe she is here and I am holding her, I never believed it would happen even as I walked into theatre for the c-section. She is just the best, beautiful from head to every tiny toe.

hello so I’ve got a lump on my c section scar, I’m having it removed soon, they are doing a biopsy on it for endometriosis. Has anyone had this done and know what the procedure is how long in hospital, recovery time etc.

I would say 10 out of 12 of my friends who have been induced have ended up having a c-section after a long and enduring labor. Is this actually the likelyhood? Or just bad luck? I’m wondering if I should just opt for a c-section, rather than get induced and end up having one anyway?

Hi I have a lump about 3 cm on my scar after c-section and I am due to have it removed with a lap as tests indicate it’s endo . Has anyone else had this surgery xx

I had a scheduled c-section as I was too unwell to go through labour. Almost as soon as my placenta was out, I felt considerably better and, fortunately, this has continued. What I never got answers to was why this happened to me.

hi there. We have a 7 year old son who was diagnosed with ADHD at age 5. He takes concerta and does fairly well on it except that he has a very hard time sleeping. I had my ovary removed during a c section because it had a cyst as big as the ovary. Pathology came back clear. Five years later I’m being seen for heavy menstruation. IUD fell out. Had a D&C. Currently using progesterone to try and control the bleeding because I have low iron anemia.

I use the mini pill but this month my bleeding is very heavy and the pain is so bad , all across my lower tummy , my bowls hurt , feels like I am being ripped open across my c section scars , I don’t think the mini pill is helping , I am 47 also have adenomyosis , does any one use the combined pill to

One of the reasons for my c section is a baby on the larger size. Has anyone else opted for c section based on larger size baby? X x

Hi All, Our child (first child) was born at the beginning of November by C Section during early afternoon, it was only hours later that irrationality was creeping in, but I was mindful of the stress of the awful experience of the surgery so disregarded it. This got steadily worse though.
