How to make a long story short?
Hi 👋🏻 I’m Vicky. I’ve come over here from fertility network uk. I’m from Herefordshire in the midlands, England. I’m 40 in April. My LG is nearly 7 months old. We are at the baby led weaning stage. It’s going well. My Hubby is disabled (a T4 paraplegic). He will be 44 in March. He was our primary reason

Liver resection
I have a met that has got to my liver. The surgeons plan to do big operation, liver resection. Does anyone have any experience of this? I’m terrified.

Being in labour with PCD
Hi there, I am 39 years old, with PCD (and situs viscerum inversus) and pregnant with my first child. Our doctor is recommending a planned C-section saying it might be too difficult for me to have a natural birth with breathing issues. Has anyone gone through natural birth and how did you cope? Or if

Twins - Elective C-section or natural birth?
It’s coming to that time where Im starting to think about the birth of our twin girls due in May. I always said I wasn’t precious about either C-section or natural birth and would do whatever is best for the babies, but I’m not sure what that is. I know it’ll depend on their position and the decision

New to the group
Hi everyone, I just joined this group today, I am in search of answers or ideas to my situation. I was diagnosed with fibroids in 2017 when I went for my 1st preg scan. I had my son via emergency c-section due to the lack of growth, he was born at 29 weeks with a low birth weight of 548grams. I was

Introduction
My husband had prostate cancer, Gleason9-10, after being on "watchful waiting"-i.e. waiting but no watching. ;-( (At UCLA) He had local spread by then. He had had 3 TURPS years ago for BPH but not cancer, so he couldn't have more surgery at the time of CA diagnosis.; He was treated by Chris with 5 days

High prolactin level, anyone have any advice?
Hi I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice please. I had a baby 7 months ago by planned C section and after 6 months of having my baby I still hadn't had a period so I went to see my GP. I had a blood test beginning of January and he phoned me to say he needed to refer me to an Endocrinologist

C section recovery going too slow!
I’m not a natural runner. I do it because I feel good afterwards. And I can eat more cake!!! My baby is only a month old and I’m struggling to recover because I want to be up and about and I can hardly walk for 15 mins. I know it’s major surgery but I thought I’d be doing better than this 😩 Anyway

Bleeding after endometrioma excision
I had surgery on Friday to remove an endometrioma from my c section. They told me to expect some bleeding for a couple of days. Just wondered if anyone else had this and how long it went on for? I'm still bleeding consistently with peirod pain. Not sure whether to speak to my gp or who 😖

Birth after 40 - first time mum - induced?
I am pregnant with my first at 42. Doctor recommends I’m induced around 39 weeks due to higher risk of stillbirth in later pregnancy. Getting induced seems it can be a longer, more painful labour that is more likely to need forceps, ventouse or emergency C-section. I really wanted to have a natural water

C Section and Endo
I was diagnosed with Endo back in August 2018 after having a laparoscopy. Shortly after that I fell pregnant and had my daughter in May 2019 via a c section. As I had a baby so soon after the lap I never got to tell really whether my symptoms got any better. But since having her I have had pain come

Well, I've had a really eventful day today! My waters broke exactly 6 weeks early today whilst I was at work! I was blue lighted to our local hospital where they performed a c section as I had no contractions and baby was laying transverse. After a very complicated surgery Alice was born safely at 13.10

Good morning everyone, I have a had endo since 2000 but I would say even before that. Recently I took myself to A&E with what I and hospital thought was a hernia, but after a CT Scan result showed a 2-3 cm cyst on my lower left side that has formed inside my c section scar you can actually feel it when

Positive APC Treatment
Just a positive 4 year report on my health. Diagnosed in March of 2016 with a couple of Gleason 9's and 7's and clean bone scan. Immediately began Lupron for 3 1/2 years with 6 month doses. Had 40 radiation treatments in July, August and September. As a regular daily visitor to LA Fitness, my worst side

Found cancer by TURP
My husband of 40plus years had a TURP performed on him in Dec 2019. We had already suspected cancer and he was told he has aggressive prostate cancer, Gleason score 9. He is 91 and the Dr thinks Lupron every 3 months is how he should treat the cancer. He has given him 2 to 5 years because of his age

Anyone been diagnosed with endometriosis then told they don't?
I'm more confused than ever now. I had my second lap 3 weeks ago, with a BSGE surgeon, before that I had a lap with a locum gyne in 2015. In between a horrific c section done by a inexperienced registrar. In the surgery notes it is recorded that possible endometriosis and or scar tissue is seen. In
