Leg ache
I keep getting a funny on off leg and pelvic ache in my right side only. It’s starting to freak me out. I’m due on my period in 7 days but I can’t see how it’s related. I keep thinking it’s sonething serious?? My periods are normal but I’m 42 so they’ve started being abit lighter. It’s not painful just

It looks like I will most like...
It looks like I will most likely be having a c section tomorrow as one of my girls hasn’t grown as much as should of gaining only 1lb and at 4lb 6 isn’t an ideal weight . My other girl has lost some fluid surrounding her. And is weighing 4lb 8 . They are keeping me in hospital tonight for steroid injections

Busy weekend
Firstly I am going to try to see my GP this morning if I can get past the receptionist but thought I would put things down here as well. At the moment I have a pain in my chest right in the center that feels a bit like a tender muscle sort of pain, it isn’t constant and only hurts in certain positions

Low Grade Serous Cancer, Mets to Liver, Liver Biopsy, Update #1: Carcinoma
I hope this is an okay way to update. I've added update #1 so I wouldn't clog up my initial post. If someone needed that information, they could go to the first post. Now that the administrative work is done (and someone jump in if this isn't the correct way to update), I've had the initial results.

Prostectomy possible after radiation
I was diagnosed for stage 4 prostate cancer with iliac lymph node involvement (Gleason 5+4) in 2015 at the age of 60. My urologist told me radical prostectomy is not possible because the cancer has already spread out of the capsule to nearby areas. Instead of radical prostectomy he did TURP. Started

TURP
About time bark in proton therapy (well pretty sure anyway) and my urologist says I need a TURP for my BPH. I’m sure I do need but hers my question. I know everyone says definitely get TURP prior to conventional external beam therapy in order to minimize adverse effects urinating during treatment plus

Pain after Endoscopy
Not sure if this is in the right section...anyway I had an endoscopy on Friday and I've never felt pain like it. I was under sedation but don't believe it worked. The nurse who put my line in said 'I don't know if that will work but they can do it when you get there'. I also had the throat spray. I was

Silly question maybe...
Hi all, I had surgery 7 years ago to remove an massive cyst on my right ovary. Went for just a day surgery to have it remove by keyhole surgery but as I had 5 cysts and loads of endometriosis, I had a c-section. I had no support after the operation so it was a real nightmare. I was put on the pill

Introduction and how to take a short cut to maPc and a very rare Prostate Cancer
I am 81 year old who has gone from being, supposedly, free of Pc in May 2016 to having Pc Gleason 3+4=7 in June and then Gleason 4+5=9 with metastases in August 2017. In 2014 I had a DRE and Ultrasound of the bladder which were clear so went on medication (Flowmaxtra) to improve my peeing. I has PSAs

Jak2 positive and MPN
My name is Catherine 26 years young. Diagnosed with Jak2 positive, mpn, ET. I was diagnosed after having my son premature at 29 weeks. I had a placenta abruption and emergency C section. After having the healthiest life ever I have realized how much we take health for granted. I am praying everyday

Postpartum anxiety
Three months ago I had a baby via c-section. My twin sister gave birth four months prior and had an extremely traumatic experience. I couldn’t get this out of my head a subsequently had a breakdown that landed me in crisis services. I was convinced that something was going to go wrong and that I would
