Melatonin?
I have been reading about Melatonin but there are vastly differing views on whether Hypo people should take it. Does anyone know anything about it?

Conjunctivitis treatment with serverly dry, sensitive eyes.
The last time I had conjunctivitis it lasted for over two months. I tried the normal eye drop treatment from my GP and it was like it was burning out my eyes so I went to my opthamologist who said that conjunctivitis doesn't need to be treated. There is only a very rare 2 or 3 pathogens that can do you

Melatonin Anyone?
Hi Been to see my GP today and have asked to try melatonin tablets to see if they will help me sleep, my sleep is pretty awful even though I am on morphine and amytriptyline. I am fed up with the side-effects of amytriptyline (sweating, dry mouth, feeling groggy etc) and wanted to try a more natural

Another Confrontational Doctors Appointment, Can having very High Blood Pressure be a sign of Overmedication??
I was called in to my GP's surgery over blood test results this morning, which were all slightly out of the top end of the ranges. I see Dr Skinner, who on my last visit advised I upped my Levo to 200mcg (19th December) The 25mcg raise hasn't done anything for me, and I'm still left with an enlarged

Hellish Night
It is 2.40 a.m. and as yet have had no sleep. The Tamazepen tablets are finished and I have nothing to replace them with yet (seeing G.P. in the morning). I took a cocktail of stuff before I went to bed in hopes of a little sleep. 5m.g. Melatonin. 4 Nytol (the stronger sort) and Two soluble co-codomol

A diagnosis or not a diagnosis?
My son was referred to Cahms in the summer and was assessed by a pysch nurse who wrote he meets the criteria for a diagnosis of tourettes. I now realise he has had ts forever and he is not that fussed now he nows what it is. He can suppress it doing school lessons but otherwise tics every day virtually

Melatonin contraindicated? just read on answer.com someone ?wrote it can stimulate the immune system ? anyone found it caused flares ?
It's been good for me to reset my bioclock and to sleep deeper and longer. I only use it if sleeping not good for a week then 1/2or 3 nights on it does the zzzzzz trick.

Melatonin? How many have tried it?
How many of us use or have tried Melatonin to help promote sleep? I mean on nights when your legs are nice and quiet, but your brain is still awake with plain old insomnia? It is maddening to go to bed, and still be awake when the clock says 3 a.m. And, just to make sure, Melatonin should be taken 2

Has anyone tried Melatonin for sleep?
Due to my intolerance for Amitryptiline - it was suggested that I take Melatonin - it's quite cheap and I'm going to try them out , I was wondering about others' experiences with this - thank you.

Has anyone tried Melatonin Supplements?
I am looking into alternatives to the Clonazepam, which I use to help me get off to sleep, albeit a chemical sleep. I’ve been doing some internet research and came across Melatonin Supplements, which appear to be only sold in the US? The Clonazapam helps me sleep but also makes me groggy in the

Sharing the experience!
Being only 25 and suffering with Fibromyalgia for the last 4 years sometimes i feel my life has been cut short. I used to love going out drinking with friends and going to gigs and rock festivals. I lost count of how many times iv had to sleep at train stations in the cold after missing the last train
