DatScan and diagnosis
I am 48 male. I started to have right hand tremors over three years ago. I was diagnosed with essential tremors due to my family history. But after a year my neurologist diagnosed it as PD. He tried Sinamet but didn't help with tremors. Propannol helped with tremors. He also tried Artane which helped

Valdoxan (agomelatine) brief trial
I tried Valdoxan (agomelatine) recently as I am titrating down from pregabalin. It's an antidepressant but some people use it for sleep (and one or two people that i've read of have had success with it for RLS). I only tried a small amount, around 12.5mg (standard dose is 25mg). The first night wasn't

Very belated intro
I've had rls since I was in my teens. I'm now 66 years old. About 6-7 years ago, I was finally diagnosed with RLS, and given a medication that I can't recall the exact name of, but it was something like lebadopa carbadopa?? Anyway, that worked very well for me at first, but after a few months it would

Tinnitan Duo 24 - 1 month update
Have been taking it for a month now. My T did not improve but my sleep has. It must be the melatonin. Subsequently I found out melatonin can be bought in any EU country not just Spain. I have another month supply so will carry on and update you in a months time.

Insomnia
Hi I have developed insomnia possibly as a result of starting a TCA drug which prevented me from sleeping. It still hasn't resolved itself and I struggle to get to sleep or stay asleep. Lucky if I get 2 hours of sleep a night. I am in the UK and the only thing that has helped is phenergan (promethazine

The Role of Gut Microbiome in Sleep Quality and Health: Dietary Strategies for Microbiota Support
Here's an interesting article on the relationship between gut microbiome and sleep for those who are interested in this topic. Best IRON supplements for RLS? Currently trying Pramipexole but learning about the risk of augmentation...
I am 33F. I had RLS (in my shins) as a teen-early 20s, but it was usually a sign of being tired and going to bed was enough. Eventually it got worse, moved up to my thighs and would not always go away with sleep... The last 3 years it has increasingly become unbearable. I have it deep in my hips, up
