Colorectal Cancer, Leukemia and Parkinson's Disease and Some Potential Help From None Other Than Melatonin
Yes, PD definitely seems to be one of those diseases that just keeps on giving and giving, and not in a good way! This article link explains how PwP may be at increased risk for Leukemia by 10 times and Colorectal Cancer by 2 times if they happen to have a specific gene mutation in the LRRK2 gene. https

Sunlight and red light therapy
I am wondering if it would be beneficial especially for people who don’t have access to a red light hat or similar to go into the sun for a short while each day and face it with eyes closed allowing light into their eyes through their eyelids. Obviously you don’t want to get sun burned so not in the

What I have learned from 1 year with Early Onset PD - "Glass Half Full"
I decided to keep a journal of my journey - it has been quite a year but I have learned a lot. some of which maybe relevant for new and older PD people. I am not a doctor and this is not a medical opinion but there is lots available to make a stand against PD https://fightparkinsonsdisease.files.wordpress.com

Ashermans, thin lining, low ovarian reserve, poor responder.. trying ivf one last time with donor sperm for possible surrogacy if lucky
After many years of having a Mirena coil for heavy periods, my then partner and I decided to start to try for a baby. I thought it was strange that when I had the coil out my periods remained just as light as when I had it in. I decided to do some hormone tests, and discovered I had a high prolactin

How tired can one be and still function.
I tried to post this yesterday but it evidently went astray. I'mcoming up for 87 and would like to enjoy my remaining time rather than be tired. I’ve posted here previously on my long term insomnia that started along with many other problems after being prescribed Fluoroquinolones in 2012. In the last

Advice and help pls
This is a bit long winded so pls bear with me. My middle daughter is 7 and I believe there is something wrong with her. I've added what her symptoms are to see if anyone has any advice. On melatonin to help sleep, she's always been a bad sleeper but she can't shut down at bedtime and without tablets

Third Round
Hi Everyone, Currently on ubiniquol, dhea, folic, vit D and melatonin. I’ve had two two cycles with a failed fresh transfer after each cycle. This time round, I have just started the buserelin on day 21 and thrown in a endometrial scratch. I couldn’t get over the fact that even though I had low grade

Is anyone else taking rhodiola rosea?
Hubby has been taking rhodiola now for a month, 1 per day for 2 weeks then 2 per day. He is doing very well this winter considering usually winter is when he falls to pieces. He is better than he has been for 5 winters! He is laughing, proactively doing things, and is interested in things. The rhodiola
