...but it felt so good! I'm still not back at week 8 yet following injury 3 months ago, but at least I can now get out for combined long walks/10-15 minute runs. Had a lovely run in the rain today and really enjoyed a very watery jog down our old railway line (now a cycle/bridle way) with my fourteen year old son! I've noticed the trend for passing on the C25k bug to our children and am so glad to see my son enjoying it so much (the youngest doesn't seem quite as keen yet)!
I still love reading all about everyone's trials and tribulations on Healthunlocked, all your stories have really helped get me through what would otherwise have been quite a dispiriting time! I can at last see light at the end of the tunnel and it is a tunnel through which I fully intend to RUN! All 5K of it!

Hi Sandra. It doesn't matter how far or how fast, as you know. The main thing is that you're back and enjoying it. It's great that you can see light at the end of the tunnel - keep it slow and steady and you'll get there!
