Hi guys. I had treatment for endo last August, I also had a IDU inserted during this procedure. Everything was great until December when the pain started to return, I saw my consultant again in February who suspected Adenomyosis-the treatment plan for this is not something I am ready for being only 29 and not yet having children. I had my coil removed 3weeks ago so I can start planning to conceive. But the pain I am getting now is horrendous. I am having to take time of work, which I have now been asked to a warning meeting for. Is there anyone that has used the equality act to help with work sickness? Any suggestions welcome please. It’s effecting me mentally having to deal with the pain and then worrying about losing my job. Thank you x

Hi....A warning meeting sounds very daunting but don't let that scare you.....I would take someone with you to your work meeting and let them know you will be bringing someone for support. I would imagine someone from HR might be present along with your boss so make sure you explain your condition and how your condition effects you . At least then your letting them know and it will be on record. Once you've done this maybe you can come to some agreement about altering working hours or work load when your bad. You could check out your works policy over sickness and warning procedures this might help you understand what's involved with the meeting

Hope this helps

take care xx
