Feeling neglected
As some of you know I was told after a few years of I've got R A I now don't have it, but now feel completely left high and dry because well it's only osteoarthritis, so the reason I'm writing this is my knees my hips my feet my hands are still hurting tingling in hands and legs, been given Amitriptyline

Banned from Ibuprofen?
Hello all! It's been a minute since I've been on. All has been going okay. I got a couple "toe off" braces that I don't think I really need them. Not yet. My toe only catches when I'm super tired or distracted, and wearing shoes. ANYWAY....my question has nothing to do with them. I was just wondering

Sleep drugs fiasco! Any thoughts?
I have had very poor sleep for the past 2 years or so, with a random pattern. Some nights, I drop off easily, on others, I lie awake for many hours. In any case, I wake frequently and sleep quality is always poor, with many dreams and sleep paralysis. On the best nights, I sleep for up to 4 hours, waking

Migraine management
I'm seventy and have had severe migraine all my life. I'm currently on my fifteenth cycle of Botox treatment and I also have a nerve stimulator. I mention these facts just to indicate that I've tried just about everything. There have been dozens of prophylactics over the years, from Amitriptyline to

Thank you Amitriptyline
I wanted to write this as a positive for controlling my pain. I have been taking it for about 4 years, I have had chronic pain over ten. Before this I would wake constantly through the night and my pain level would start the day at a 9/10. I do wake during the night but quickly fall back to sleep I started

Nerve Pain when weaning off Amitriptyline
Hi, I have been taking amitriptyline 10 mg for 6 months but cannot deal with the grogginess and weight gain post stroke. I did try cold turkey in May but unfortunately realised that was a silly way to come off it! I have been more sensible this time, have taken half for the past 2 weeks then was going

Is fibromyalgia real
Hi, Is fibromyagia real in the sense it can be proven ? Could someone fake having fibromyalgia for years without proof due to the fact there are no diagnostic testings ? My friend said that there was no evidence for it, and that it mainly occurs in females, those that are poorer, have anxiety/ depression
