Bad lower back pain
Can you call a massage therapist, Mags?
My bad back was due to sciatica, Mags. I think it was aggravated by pushing thru when I should have rested! I have had to learn to distinguish between muscle pain and nerve pain. Nerve pain seems to reduce only over time AND if you rest. I had to lie down on a firm bed.
It may be you need to rest up till the spasms goes, maybe a few weeks, and be gentle with yourself!
Hope that helps and if not, hope your doctor finds the cause.
Hugs

I have a herniated disk which caused terrible sciatica. I took too many painkillers for six months or so, including amatryptaline, which made it very difficult fr me to wake up in the mornings. My recovery was very slow and 5 years later I still get occasional night cramps. I try to control my weight, but think that Turmeric and black pepper capsules (which I make myself) have been helpful in reducing the inflammation.
Could you tell us how to make the turmeric/black pepper capsules?
I bought one of these
ebay.co.uk/itm/100-Hole-Man...
Then bought a big bag of turmeric, black pepper and size 0 capsules. There is a turmeric users facebook that will guide you.
Hi its mags again well I had that other MRI scan on my left knee and left hip when I had it on my hip I was told to turn my feet inwards the pain was really bad that shot up that left leg and when it was over I couldn't walk I had to rest a bit then I had a pain in my upper sholder and I couldn't put my arm around my back is was told when I went back to my doctor he said it was the si joint and where the hip joins the spine that's where the pain comes from I've been put on Etoricoxib 60 mg and amitriptyline 25 mg I was told no bending down no Carrying shopping no standing for too long and no picking anythink up I'm still in pain even when I walk anywhere the pain starts.
