Hi, I've been having symptoms for 18 months that have been getting progressively worse. Due to my lifestyle it all seems to clearly point to my liver. It would be wonderful if it was all in my head but its not. I had 3 sets of liver function tests and an ultrasound done privately today which have all

Hi I'm new here, looking for advice on where to turn to with my symptoms.
Hi I am a 58 year old female. I started with pelvic/pubic pain 2 and half years ago after a bad attack of shingles. After the shingles cleared up I was left with pain very low down on my abdomen. Doctor said it was post herpatic neuralgia. Suffering from frozen shoulder at the same time so prescribed

Irregular heartbeat
I developed an extra heartbeat on the 17th of January this year, the 1 year anniversary of my brother's murder, they lasted 5 days constantly every 30 seconds, I ended up in hospital three times, I used to suffer bad panic attacks about 10 years ago so I'm very aware of my heartbeat, this was nothing

Good Afternoon. Has anybody been prescribed the above drug whilst on AF medication. I have just been prescribed it for burning feet and restless legs by my GP and collected this from the pharmacy today, and on reading the DO NOT TAKE SECTION, it says not if you have any heart rhythm problems. GP screamed at me due to Lyrica
Hi everyone I went to see my useless GP this morning as I needed a medication review (who came up with this anyway) for my Lyrica. It was prescribed to me for my vulvodynia back in June but I didn't take it until I had a relapse a month ago. My GP, a woman ! proceeded to scream at me saying

Unbelievable
G.p said to try and get onto 3 monthly injections now!! She was the one than reinstated every other day ! So thought the one to see. It was agreed by neurologist and another gp to go at my own pace to get to 2 monthly injections. So confusing. She then did say to go at own pace . So left it at that

Is my mystery neuropathy FND?
Hi everyone In 2013 I developed overnight neuropathic pain. After many crying trips to the GP, they just said I have vulvodynia. The mystery is that I simply developed a small cyst and overnight I had full-on stabbing pains ! I then developed sciatica as well as coccyx pain (for no reason) I was treated

Do I have endometriosis?
I’ve had really bad hip/pelvic pain for years which is still un diagnosed. I’ve had blood tests, seen physios in the NHS, private physio, chiropractor, osteopath and a muscoskeltal specialist and still no one has a clue what it is. I have been told to take ibuprofen, codeine (which makes me feel ill)

Losing my marbles?!
I need some advice or reassurance I’m not going insane! Since December I’ve been experiencing pain in my right side, originally the doctor thought it was a kidney infection and when antibiotics didn’t work I went to A&E for a scan only to be admitted for a week. While in hospital I had an ultrasound

New symptom liver itch
Hi, I wrote 18 months ago about my fear of having cirrhosis. I drank very heavily in my 20s but stopped drinking so heavily in my early 30s but had a 4 month split from my husband in early 2017 when I drank heavily for 4 months around 2 bottles of wine every night. When we got back together I stopped

Tinnitus after headaches
I started having headaches after Christmas and a low ringing in my ears. Since then I've been going to rehab for my neck muscles and my headaches have got better, also have been taking Tryptizol once a day before sleeping. However the ringing has got worse, during the day I can manage, but at night is

Conflict between medicines
i have been on levothyroxine for over 40 years. I now take a lot more medication and have recently been told by pharmacist that quite a few of my medicines affect efficiency of thyroxine.I am annoyed that for years nobody has told me this. Also anastrozole, levothyroxine and amitriptyline are giving
