I had similar problems to you. A bulging disc, a dessicated disc and nerves trapped in the foramina at C6/7. I had radiculopathy with pain in my left shoulder and arm, tingling in my fingers and a loss of my left triceps reflex. I had foraminotomies at C6/7 and the pain was gone immediately post op. My surgeon was a specialist in cervical neurosurgery at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, London.

I was also on Doxepin.. and million other meds .. but was only a temporary bandaid.Have u thought of acupuncture/chiropractic/mm?? Sometimes a different approach can help. Things to distract ur pain can help also... music...movie...just being silly (even if no one else gets it). You might even find other ideas from other peoples posts here.
