I'm Sat sobbing in GP waiting room. TLH kept ovaries with extensive Endo removed from bladder, bowel and c-section scar.
I've been back at work on a phased return but have had to call in sick every week do I'm under 40% attendance. My bladder is slowly recovering but The pain around my bowel is excruciating. I'm still on 1500mg Gabapentin a day (reduced from 1800mg). The main problem is fatigue insomnia and mood . I'm angry and sad all the time. Shouting at hubby and the kids. I'm completely exhausted so have no energy for work or to spend time with the kids. Hubby takes the brunt of my mood swings and I can see how much it's hurting him. My skin is a mess (prior to the worst of the Endo I was on contraceptives for acne treatment).
I can't carry on like this. Can anyone offer any help? Please? Would anti-depressants help? I've read about amitriptyline, does it work?
