Confused...
Hi, this is my first post so please bear with me! I have had various blood tests done as in February this year I started with severe roaming joint pain, I have had an ANA of 1:160 over the past 4 years (this was detected due to a severe skin condition) so I have always known lupus might rear it's head

Private ANA test for kids?
My 4yr old is being tested for lupus. His symptoms are:- pinkish coloured urine which has shown up not to be blood. It's now gone, but sample has been sent off for further testing. We have an aunt who passed away who had lupus and unfortunately several members of the family who have autoimmune diseases

Hi My name is Rebecca, I have RA with an anti CCP 92, positive ANA of 360 homogenous and my inflammation markers and other bloodwork oddly normal. Does anybody else have a positive ANA? My back and hips are ravaged with pain. Oddly, finger and toes are fine😇 my ankles are always swollen and owie.

Hi I'm Muppet01234, I was just checking my BMI and found a link to this forum. Unfortunately I need to lose a couple of stone, more preferably, as I will not be considered a candidate for possible Spinal Cord Stimulation. This is going to be an interesting challenge as I am couch bound and have be

Bloated constipation due to ibs
So I've had ibs for a year and have found its triggered by pork and stress. I've cut out the pork apart from the odd accident but stress is a different matter. I recently flew to majorca . The stress caused diarrhoea so took an imodium and u haven't on since. The pain is excruciating but u don't want

Chronic pain with so much to live for but so little feelings of wanting to.
I'm so fed up with chronic pain everyday myself. I had a spine injury from a spinal cord stimulator trial about a year-and-a-half ago. I lost most of the use of my left leg and live a life of chronic pain. I can get around with a cane but the pain is so bad I find it hard to do anything. Even sitting

What do you think of this facial redness in my photo?
I have other photos that I would like an opinion on if it looks like a butterfly rash. I have many symptoms of lupus but I also have thyroid disease that caused me to have my thyroid removed. I have low cortisol, migraines, complex partial seizures, terrible exhaustion, bruising, hair falling out,

Has anyone else had a low (1/160 titre) positive ANA test with nucleolar pattern after years of ANA negative results?

Test Results
I have managed to get some of my results, not in the conventional way as the nurse said that she couldn't give me them so not sure I have them all. Anti-cyclic citrullinated peptide antibody level 0.8U/ml (0 - 4.8) Serum Vitamin D = 30 nmol/L (25 - 162) Vit D:<25 deficient, 25-50 insufficient, 50>

Hi, I get infrequent optical migraines, probably 1 or 2 a year. Just had a period of stress and took some S J W over a couple of days. Noticed when I took them the migraines appeared. Wonder if anyone else had similar outcomes.

Air bubbles in chest, pain, shortness of breath
I get this feeling maybe 2-3 times a year, it starts off as very mild in lower left chest then moved up the middle of my chest and the pain becomes intense. To the point where I am curled up on the floor trying to find a position it will stop, sweating perfusuly. I seen a lot of people on here with the

Non-diabetic with high morning glucose
I am new to this forum and wanted to see if anyone can advise on my high morning glucose. I am a 49 year old female with autoimmune thyroid disease but I am not diabetic nor or any medication for anything. My morning glucose after one cup of tea is frequently over 8.5 mmol on our very reliable Accucheck

Good News!!
Hi PBC family, PBC is a rollercoaster ride isn't it? But for now I'm gonna enjoy my good news. Had some extensive labs done recently. My liver had been aching as well as terrible muscle aches too. I have to be on RA drugs that can complicate the whole liver issue... anyway, after 2 rounds of steroids

Hello everyone It's a bit of a long one so I do apologise in advance x Yesterday I had a combined Appointment with the E.N.T doctor & my specialist prof Lorraine Harper. I had a nasal endoscopy which showed my right nasal passage was very narrow but my CT scan results of my sinus revealed no infection
