PBC with overlapping autoimmune diseases
Hi - I was well until this summer when I was diagnosed with a symptomatic Celiac disease. Abnormal blood test confirmed by small bowel biopsy. Went gluten free and then developed debilitating polyarthritis - started on steroids. Elevated alk phos led to suspicions of PBC. Had liver biopsy last month

New Here and Think I'm Hypo, Have Long List of Bloods - Would Be Grateful for Thoughts
Hi, I've been lurking for a few days on here trying to get information as I have hypothyroid symptoms. I've found the site incredibly helpful already in trying to understand what is going on with me - now 52 and been to Docs over last 18months for various complaints which started with low libido. Thought

Rash on face
I haven't been diagnosed with Lupus yet bit my bloodwork says yes. ANA positive, Titer is homogeneous. Inflammatory marker were really high and had just come off steriods the day before they done blood work. Anyways, I developed a rash on my face and was wondering if others have experienced the same?

Can adrenals heal?
I was diagnosed with Hashi's 15 years ago, I'm now 62 and retired. I'm also in stage 3 adrenal fatigue syndrome (virtually no cortisol in June 2016). I've been self-navigating for the past 6 months, and have seen a LITTLE improvement in the fatigue and depression. I am able to take care of myself and

Waiting for diagnosis
I'm 39 and just had my first appointment with a rheumatologist yesterday. She did x rays and ultrasound on my joints and says she does not think it's RA and now doing more blood tests which may indicate lupus I have had a positive ANA along with pretty much every symptom of RA except swollen, red joints

Pleased with myself then .....
I've been under the care of a really good pain consultant for nearly a year now. One of the things he explained to me is how too much medication can in fact amplify your pain instead of stopping it. So I stopped my oramorph and have been steadily decreasing my dose of MST (morphine sulphate tablets)

More blood test results for interpretation
Hello thyroid fans! I have been to a new haematologist who has carried out a swathe of tests to get a baseline, including some thyroid related ones that I hadn't been able to convince the previous 8 doctors to do! She said she would get I touch if there were any problems - she hasn't but has referred

Positive dsdna, then negative and my rheumatologist says I don't have lupus...
I would like to hear some opinion from people who might went through the same thing as me because my diagnosis has been very confusing. Back in July I had knee and wrist pain for a couple of weeks and I visited my GP, she run blood work and I was Ana positive and dsdna positive also, it was very low

Hi everybody, I've posted a few times but quick recap - finally got an appt with a rheumy after only 25 years of ill health, although the letter says they will review my referral and cancel the appt if they don't think it is needed, which is a little concerning - I've waited a long time for this! ANA POSITIVE
My ANA was positive. C-Reactive Protein and Sed rate are high. Hemoglobin is low. I've felt like I have the flu for 3 weeks straight now with no relief. I don't see a Rheumatologist until January and my Doctor is not wanting to give any meds. I'm so miserable I cannot function during the day. The exhaustion
