Progress and a bit of fun
I wrote a silly ditty for someone on her quite a while back. Am posting it here now so I can delete from my iPad as iCloud alarmingly getting full and I don't want to pay 70pence - I know - I am that old miser. I am currently on 6 and 5.5 alternate. Slight delay to latest reduction as I fell hard on

Sore eyes , STILL
Have posted on here a few times relating to gritty sore eyes, saw ophthalmologist and he cleaned out calcium deposits , but it was a bit of a rush job, as he had a waiting room full of people, but he gave me open appointment. Three weeks later I went back, as eyes still sore, he made a comment about

Scratching your head for the origin of Parkinsons - is there a common link between Dandruff and PD ?
This Canadian-Spanish team examines the hypothesis that the micro-fungus, Malassezzia which causes dandruff and seborrheic dermatitis (SD) xould get into the brain and damage cells. The association between the two conditions may also be due to a common factor that helps promote both conditions. Not

How can I stop my period
I’m on week three of my period!!! Last August I decided to stop getting the depo-provera shot as I’m now in a good spot for my life to start settling down and will want kids within the next two years! I was on the depo for 9 years so didn’t have to worry about a period through those years. The last

Heparin Dosage
I was diagnosed with the big 3 by Prof Hughes 2 years ago and had a problem with taking Plaquanil and can not take high dose Steriods - so I have been very unwell, but now I have been in the most severe relapse for 5 months to a point of being bed bound so I have an appointment at the London Lupus Centre

Cellcept or Azathioprine
Hi, newbie here. 😊 A blood test back in 2009 confirmed I had PBC, but it took until 2015 and a liver biopsy for a definite diagnosis which also found I had auto immune hepatitis. I was put on Budesonide and Urso, but didn't get on with Urso so stopped taking, a few months later Budesonide was stopped

Vegetable curry with home made curry sauce 🌶
Hi everyone, Well after all this talk of making curry sauces and the poll on frozen veg. I made a curry with white onions sweet peppers and garlic diced gently cooked in olive oil for the curry paste base. When they were soft and just starting to go golden around the edges I added some chick pea flour

Why all these blistery spots at my age?
Hi, anyone have any idea why this has happened in the last few weeks? I have incredibly dry skin so have to moisturise and I use a cream cleanser, none of which I’ve changed recently. My skin is very red in the morning and after a shower even though I try not to wet my skin or get shampoo on it. All

Can Alzheimer’s Dementia Drugs Help With IPF ... Drug repurposing in idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis classes
Furthermore, our analysis concluded to drugs (Table 2) that provide strong connection with IPF since they have been discovered by at least two out of three drug repurposing tools, with a given inhibiting score less than −0.5 against IPF. What Are Reasons Not to Use Bipolar Androgen Therapy (BAT)?
Bipolar Androgen Therapy (BAT) is the alternation of Androgen Deprivation Therapy with high doses of testosterone to reset castrate resistant prostate cancer to again become sensitive to Androgen Deprivation Therapy.
