On methotrexate and pred, have been exposed to fungal skin infection. First aid advice please.
Hi I am currently on 23 mg pred and 25 mg methotrexate subcutaneous and I'm doing fine. But today I had a visit from a very dear friend whom I've not seen in ages. His skin on his face looked like the results of bad sunburn, red and flaky. Later in conversation it comes out that it is a fungal infection

Hi folks, I was started on leflunomide about 8 weeks ago and I am sure you will all think I am crazy but has anyone noticed that they suddenly have a lot more wrinkles and lines while taking this, I have even had a couple of family members comment on it, the nearest I can come when trying to find anything

Hello, It's been a week of daily CBD oil capsules (30mg). It is recommended that the dose for beginners is around 10mg working your way up from there, but I was never one for gradual. Go Big or Go Home! I held my expectations in check maintaining the observers perspective on the effects and was

POST 2: EMOTIONAL FIRST AID KIT
Hello All, I hope all is well. I know it's been a while since I last uploaded my first post a few months ago, but I have been very busy in my personal life. A few days ago as I was going through some old junk papers and throwing things out, I came across a magazine my cousin gave me that centered

Daily Mail article on thyroid treatment being denied
Thought people are fighting for better and more accessible treatment not cutting it back... Hasn't there been enough patient outcry? Why isn't there one united body of specialists to give a real voice to this issue? Contrary to what this article is saying Levothyroxine has given me my sanity and life

Lung Cancer for over 10 years and still going strong. It can take its toll on our nerves. I am only human after all.
They said it was caused by a
air
embolism
which was brought on from having the needle biopsy. Since then I have heart flutters and there is nothing the doctors can do as I don't have a heart problem as I went for a second opinion privately.

Hi I have been on Hydroxychloroquine for 1 1/2 years and about 6mths ago started to get an itch on my neck which settled with some emulsifying ointment but this no longer works. There is nothing to see and I know that an itch can be a side effect of this medication. Just wondering if anybody else has

Are heart issues related to Hashimotos
Hi all. I posted results recently relating to my under active thyroid. Mainly to see if I had Hashimotos (tpo <600) . My rheumatologist revered me for a heart echo, this has come back as ejection fraction 40% and grade 1 diastolic dysfunction. referred to a cardiologist now! My question is, could this
