Not really something to recommend. Stick with magnesium and also with liberal use of melatonin particularly. Benign yet effective, and you can be quite flexible with the melatonin to find the solution that fits you individually. Very safe.

If you have to go with an anti-anxiety aid that has drowsiness as a desired side effect, the best one to use, and don't make it habitual if you can help it, is clonazepam. Anything more esoteric is really pretty risky. If you are in an area where cannabis with THC is legal, that's pretty useful and safer than a lot of these engineered chemical pharmaceuticals too.

Did not help my husband’s sleep. He does best on GABA, L-theanine, magnesium, slow-release melatonin and 100 mg Trazadone . He does not sleep for long stretches of time. But he does get about 3 hours at a time which at least make him feel more rested and energetic. He has tried just about everything you can imagine and this combo works best.

it works great if you awaken in the middle of the night and can't fall back asleep.
