Advice re. Churchill hospital
Can anyone who attends the Churchill hospital in Oxford give me a little guidance please. I have been referred to haematology there and have an appointment in late May. I will have to drive to get there (a round trip of about 70 miles) and I understand that parking there is pretty hellish. So if anyone

post right hemicolectomy functional bowel disorder
my son age 7 during storm Emma passed out and vomited continuously, we had to take him to the nearest accessible hospital with ice chains on the car , they just said it was viral. A scan the next day revealed intersusception so his bowel was blocked , he developed sepsis. He had a right hemicolectomy

Colonoscopy v Colonography
Has anyone else been told they have a loopy bowel and it is not advisable to have a colonoscopy anymore. They recommended ct colonography, but i am worried about the amount of radiation this needs. Apparently 2yrs normal exposure in one go. Anyone else had this predicament?

I was trying to talk myself out of running yesterday, especially after losing an hour, then I figured if I was going to have Roast turkey and possibly Easter Egg then it made sense to burn some calories š. Both myself and my son had managed to sleep in till nearly 10 ( nearly 9 in old money) which

How to Know When Disimpaction is Complete
I'm doing disimpaction for my 7 year old. She's been constipated and on laxatives for years. I did 2 weeks of the sachet schedule and then 6 days adding bisacodyl tablet at night & suppository morning. She's had very watery stool (sometimes clear or light brown with just tiny bits spraying out, sometimes

Suspected endometriosis and the workplace
Hi all - looking for some tips/help in a difficult situation involving work. (UK) - Started a job and was told remote working was fine (great for me because I have been on an endo/PCOS diagnosis journey for a decade). Employer did a 'u-turn' on remote working and insisted it was based on abuse by one

Is this a flare?
Good morning, Iām 68 and diagnosed with PMR last October, 2023. I started at 20mg. No problem with tapering until February 29, 2 weeks after I started 7.5 mg. My neck (turning both ways and especially looking down) started getting sore and stiff on both sides. Tried acetaminophen and physical therapy

Incontinence - A major problem
I have had Parkinson's since the spring of 2014. I had my first major fall (any fall that requires a trip to the ER) in Oct. of 2018, and I have gone downhill since that night. The Parkinson's symptom that's keeping me from leading a normal life is a freezing gait, although I do have overall tightness
