Post hysterectomy
Hi I had my hysterectomy on Thursday last week... I was discharged on sunday. However since returning home anything I am eating is causing me to run to the toilet for a painful bowel movement. Is this normal?

New here. Having a holter monitor and ECG on the 22nd November.
Would love to know what others here thing. I had a hysterectomy last year and retained my ovaries so I didn't plummet into menopause. During my hospital stay, the nurse told me that I have an irregular pulse. I had an ECG 2 weeks prior to my surgery and I kind of knew that I had an irregular pulse anyway

Will I bleed post lap
I have had a hysterectomy 2 years ago.. ovaries still in but now on list for another lap. Will I bleed after the lap as I don’t obviously have periods anymore? Just thinking ahead on what to pack as on short notice list?? Also worried about bellybutton as it keeps getting sore from previous laps.

34 week update. Placenta accrete
After going through the strain of IVF, fibroid surgery, I have now developed placenta accrete 😥 I will be put to sleep under general anaesthetic, arterial balloons in my groin to help bleeding, hysterectomy and first night spent in intensive care away from the baby. I just feel devastated, frightened

Hi again everyone - hope you can help. Forgot to mention yesterday whilst visiting my GP she informed me of the latest findings re taking HRT - the risk factors have increased. I had a total hysterectomy 20 years ago and take 1mg of Oestrogen daily since which I am happy to do. However she has now advised

Hysterectomy seems inevitable
My consultant diagnosed me with endometriosis adenomyosis and ashermans syndrome. He wants me to have the zoladex Implant for 6 months then hysterectomy planned afterwards. Feeling defeated and it’s quite major surgery at 32. Don’t know what I’m asking just maybe reassurance.

Further treatment
Hi ladies I had a total hysterectomy and appendix removal surgery on the 31st October, after my right ovary was previously removed in August for mucinous borderline stage 1a. I was wondering if I still needed monitoring, bloods or any checkups. Or is that is now? Has a anyone similar who could please

Hiya everyone, a big thank you to everyone who responded to my first post I was overwhelmed with the support. Bleeding after hysterectomy.
Did anyone have a post hysterectomy Bleeding? I had a total hysterectomy with both ovaries out. Just finished two weeks. Didn't have bleeding in two weeks, but yesterday had some bleeding. Had used a thin sanitary pad. The endo nurse says it's normal to bleed 6 to 8 weeks. Pls share if anyone bled after

Has anyone had endometriosis come back with in a year of having a full hysterectomy and how did you deal with it?
I had a full hysterectomy Feb 2019 due to endometriosis and adhesions. I am also a type 1 diabetic but getting the same symptoms as pre op and currently on oramorph and oxynorm which whilst on this I don't feel my hypos. Which I am struggling to deal with daily life and worried endometriosis has come

Suffering with endometerosis
Hi, I have suffered for the last 13 years after having 2 endometriosis operations and I have ended up having a full hysterectomy key hole which 6 weeks into recovery I feel the best in years and the HRT gel is working fantastically, I am 49 so the option was easy for me but I wish I had had the operation

New beginnings
Hello everyone been fairly busy having appointments at hospital. So at last I have a date for my hysterectomy on the 21st November. Sticking to my diet as I started my weight lose journey at 119.07 which I think was around 265lb. I am now down to 95.3 which is around 209.6lb so onwards with my life changes

Private hysterectomy cost?
Hi Google is not proving helpful, I have requested info from BMI but I’m being impatient ☺️ Does anyone know how much a hysterectomy costs if going private? 🤔 Thanks

Pain management options while waiting to be seen...
Hi I have had adenomyosis confirmed and Fibroids (one of which is 7cm) summer 2019. I’m mid 40s, two children (adopted). Please bear with me, I waffle 😁 I am in constant pain most days. Gradually getting worse since Jan 2019. Periods have been horrific for many a decade from a pain point of view and

Increased Ca125 and ascities
Hello all. I'm still scared my Ca125 has risen and after a recent short hospital stay due to salmonella, diarrhoea and vomiting, a scan showed the ascities has returned. After a total hysterectomy and debulking surgery last year, I didn't think ascities could come back. This means the tumours must have
