Nine Months after a Full Hysterectomy with BSO - August -to date non-stop Headache
My healing was a journey of it's on. Once I hit the sixth month I saw enormous change in my healing. Then immediately the headaches and dizziness and vertigo took over. From Ob-gyn to Physician to Neurologist to ENT to... From medication to medication to..... It's weighing me down. Slowing my exercising

Why canāt I be given steroids for suspected autoimmune disease such as lupus, Sjƶgrens or scleroderma when they work
Hi am seeing my rheumatologist next month in a desperate last ditch attempt to get answers from him. My ENA is always positive and I have tried steroids from my GP in the past for chest infections and have felt so well within days yet am not being given them at all by my rheumatologist long term for

Iām new here. Pain relief tips for severe endo & chocolate cyst please?
Hi all Iām new here & really sad & frustrated to read how so many women are suffering unnecessarily with misdiagnosis & long waits for treatments. Surgical menopause
Hi all I had total hysterectomy and Boston in April 2017 and was put on estradoil 2mg from day 2 of surgery. I have not had any of the usual side effects but over the last year had lack of concentration, fizzy head, visual disturbances that then turn into headaches, heavy head, tension in shoulders,

Scared
Hello special people. I'm scared. My OC returned despite being on maintenance Avastin after major debulking surgery and total hysterectomy. It's in my stomach lymph nodes, on my bowel, liver, peritoneum and omental area. I was told I might have another five years if the carbo and Caelyx work enough,

Endo and me
I was diagnosed with endo at 21 after suffering from the age of 14 with the most horrendous periods. Not understanding what a 'normal period' was you assume all is just that "normal". After numerous visits to the doctors I finally got a referral to gynaecology which In some way was a relief and in another

Bravest girl I know
Yesterday my fiancƩ said that I was the bravest girl I know. This is after a conversation with my mum about having a hysterectomy. I still feel very emotional about his comment and very lucky and grateful to have someone so supportive and wonderful in my life. X

Shocked is an understatement
Hi all, I posted a little while ago regarding my 'surprise return' after a total hysterectomy. I have since found out that i still have remnants of my ovaries and had to have an MRI scan yesterday and blood tests for ovarian cancer š± How on earth can this be? Anyone else been in this situation.

Hysterectomy success stories?
Heard so much negativity around hysterectomies. I get why. I know it doesnāt cure endo and there can be complications and it may not improve your symptoms. But Iām seriously considering it and would be doing it to help control my symptoms and take back my life. Anyone whoās had a hysterectomy and its

Any advice please
Hi everyone, I am new to this site, I'm looking for some advice please. I'm going to cut my story short, if not it would be so long winded. I have stage 4 endometriosis, my bowel is attached to my uterus. I have been given 2 options, 1. Start treatment to slow down my hormones. 2. Full hysterectomy
