Cyst after hysterectomy
Hi everyone, I had a hysterectomy over a year ago and have bee great . It should have been a surgery that removed my ovaries too as that was what was causing the problems. I’ve been having back and stomach pain for a few weeks now and all tests were clear so I went for an ultrasound to see if it was

Are my ovaries failing or is it something else?
Hi all, Has anyone here had a hysterectomy and kept their ovaries, but the ovaries have failed afterwards? I'm 7 months post hysterectomy and I've started having spotting and bad pain in my ovaries and hips. I also wake up really sweaty. My doctor mentioned my ovaries could be failing. Can anyone

Prostap. Usual pain has gone but sharp ovarian pain?
Hey guys.. I've not posted for a spell. I'm currently awaiting an appointment with my gynea surgeon with a view to a total hysterectomy, which has - understandably- been postponed due to the current Pandemic. In the inter-rim, my gyneachologist advised to continue with a further 3 months of Prostap.

I had a grapefruit size breast tumor in Fall 1992, considered terminal. Beat it. Bad Lymphedema in my arm & back and frozen shoulder. Beat them. Feb. 2016--13 tumors. Hysterectomy took out 6 uterine tumors, radiation killed Breast CA that had eaten my sacrum and one Breast CA at the top of my spine

RV Endo - Hysterectomy /Ovaries query
Hi All, I'm after some feedback please. Is there anyone who has had a hysterectomy (kept ovaries), and found their endo has grown back to point of really suffering again and then gone back to have your ovaries out and noticed any improvement? I need a lap either way but wondering about ovaries as torn

Possible Recurrence - Beyond scared
Hi All, I had OC in April, 2017. Surgery, full hysterectomy, then 6 rounds of tough chemo. I had stage 1c tumor w/ microscopic touching. Last chemo 9-2017. All of my CA-125 tests are around 9-12. May 2020, my CA-125 rose to 29.4. I panicked! Per the advice of my doctors, I waited 4 weeks and did the

ALREADY OBSESSING! First pre-protocol scan & review consultation for my second FET... How do I even begin to think about anything else?
So after my miscarriage last August, following my transfer in the July. I was in a really bad place emotionally and physically. So I knew I needed to wait and during that wait I also had surgery for my endometriosis / adhesions and uterine septum (which I didn't know I had until after the miscarriage

Decaceptyl and Escitalopram (Cipalex/Lexapro)
Hi all, In advance of bowel resection and hysterectomy in September, my gynae surgeon wants me to have a Decaceptyl 3 monthly injection. This should calm/reduce endo inflammation in area closest to my bowel and lowers risks of any damage when operating around the nerves which control my bowel, bladder

30+ years of worsening dysmenorrhea
Hi, I'm going to apologise in advance for the long one, but I guess I want to vent and see if anybody has experienced the same symptoms but had different treatment offered, or even a diagnosis? I half wonder if it's adenomyosis but until now just think it's "one of those things". What are my rights as

Does it ever get any easier.
I'm 21 and have been told that if the last chemcial fix doesn't work (60% chance of failing) doesn't work i will need a hysterectomy. Does the condition ever get any easier as I has a cyst removed last year that was a fair size and has left my with pelvic abrasions.

Urinary Retention 8 months post hysterectomy
Hi. On the 31st of October I had a total hysterectomy with ovarian conservation. Since then I experienced recurrent UTI symptoms. By the time I got to my 7th time my GP referred me to urology. I had a cystoscopy in which debris was found in my bladder. I started medications that just made things worse
