Hysterectomy
I know there will be other people that have asked this question. But how easy is it to get a doctor to agree to remove both womb and ovaries? I'm 25 years old and i have never wanted children and the pain is getting unbearable. I currently live in the UK, i came here to study which is not going well

Frustrated with my recovery....
Had a total hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo oopherectomy and excision for Stage 4 Endometriosis on August 12th 2019 and recovery after this was slow as I expected. Was 12 weeks before going back to work and went back on reduced hours. Now January and still struggling. Don’t know what’s going on inside

Insomnia after hysterectomy?
Ladies I wondered if any of you had severe insomnia after your hysterectomy? I had my surgery on the 11th Dec and initially I slept for 12 hours for the first couple of days. Now I just lay wide awake in bed? I’ve tried hypnosis (recordings) I’ve tried lavender I’ve tried chamomile tea. Nothing is

Feeling a bit apprehensive
Monday I’ve got a scan on the kidney area as I have an occasional proper bleed in urine. Also have had quite a few bad UTI’s lately. Tuesday I’ve got cortisone injections in facet joints in my lower back, which I had done 12 years ago successfully. (Can’t wait as I’m in so much pain can hardly walk at

Prolapse
Hello, could really do with some advice and reassurance. Had a hysterectomy 8 weeks ago and just been told I have a prolapse. Does the discomfort ever ease? Or am I to feel like this for evermore? Thank you for any replies!

Results of a hysterectomy going wrong Dr no longer able to practice
In 1992 I had an RTA and damaged my back. The physio always said I would have issues at certain times of the month due to hormonal changes. After some time I was really struggling with back pain even to the stage of having sex, I was in so much pain for up to 2 weeks later. I asked my GP to refer me

I am nearly 33 years old and have suffered stage 4 endo for 14 years. Iv had seven laparoscopies and three treatments of zolodex. MMC surgical management risks
Went to epu today and they have confirmed no heartbeat after seeing a strong one only last Fri. They said baby stopped at 7w+6days (Sunday). They've given me the options and I've elected to have surgical management as I thought this was the least traumatic but now I'm having second thoughts given that

Scar Advice
After advice I had a total hysterectomy and other things - I have a large scar going up to my rib cage - I had 51 staples so quite large. It’s taken me a while to touch the area and now I’d like to know what you lovely ladies use on your scars to make them less dry as to date I’ve not used anything as

Chronic pain, no diagnosis
I have suffered pelvic pain for ten years, I have had internals, pelvic exams, ultrasound scans, MRI, colposcopy and laparoscopy. All yielded nothing. I was told if the abnormal bleeding stopped I would not have the pain so they carried out endometrial ablation. That was 6 years ago. The pain never stopped

Endometrial ablation and hormone fluctuations
Confused! Saw a endo specialist today for the first time because my consultant is confused to why I’m bleeding still on zoledex. My treatment options are limited which I’m aware of but he’s suggested a lap with treatment of endo A lap with treatment of endo with endometrial ablation A lap with as above
