Abdominal Hysterectomy

However there was still residual tumor seen on CT scan and I have been booked to have abdominal hysterectomy on 30th November followed by 2 more chemotherapy, avastin and parp inhibitors. I wanted to ask if anyone had hysterectomy and how was the recovery?

Oopherectomy or Hysterectomy?

I saw a gynaecologist at my local hospital who said my choices for treatment are either oopherectomy or abdominal hysterectomy as I've had 2 c-sections. There was no mention of a laparoscopy.

Borderline serous tumour stage 3b

I had a bilateral salpingo oophectomy in July as I had 2 large ovarian cysts, when the surgery took place they found a tumour and deposits in my omentum and peritoneum, so 4 weeks ago I had a full abdominal hysterectomy and stripping of the pelvic lining.

Hi everyone - meeting my oncologist today

I had an abdominal hysterectomy in July and it went well, the surgeon seemed pretty confident it wasn’t cancer at the time and then it hit me pretty hard when he told me 3 weeks later that the results showed cancer had started in my womb and moved to my ovary.

Bladder issues after hysterectomy

Hi I had a total abdominal hysterectomy taking everything, had 1 post op UTI. I'm 7 weeks post op, every time I go for a wee, I have pain and pressure after finishing for a few seconds. It's starting to get me down. No UTI. I had a vertical cut.

Total Abdominal (Bikini cut) Hysterectomy next week..yikes!

Hi all I’m hoping someone on here is able to give me some reassurance, I’m wondering if anyone has any positive experiences of having a total hysterectomy? I keep reading about the extremely difficult recovery (which I do expect) but I’m starting to get really anxious about the whole procedure.. I

My story won't apply to everyone, of course, but you may find a nugget worth considering. I've had mild RLS intermittently for forty years until it recently worsened. I'd always managed it with weighted heat, L-Tryptophan, magnesium glycinate, L-Theanine, and if necessary, a little pacing. At age 36,

I was lost too..

Hello there I truly feel your pain. After I gave birth to my daughter in 2008 I started to have alot of new pain and bleeding. Was diagnosed with endometriosis. The bleeding was severe and drained me of energy. I was put on numerous contraceptive pills, implant, coil nothing seemed to work. 8 years later

CLOTTED MENSTRUAL CYCLE EVERY MONTH?

Before I was diagnosed last year I began getting clotted periods, I would get maybe one day or two of normal non-clotted but very bright red blood. It would then darken but only slightly and then it was mainly stringy clots. I currently have to use a Super+ tampon PLUS Depends each cycle just to so I
