so many questions
She had her surgery today for total
abdominal
hysterectomy
and they removed a tumour the size of a melon. The cancer nurse specialist has already been round and confirmed it is cancerous but they are sending it off for grading? What is grading? They have left her womb in but we aren’t sure why.

I had a total
abdominal
hysterectomy
in addition to chemotherapy with Taxol/Carboplatin, then Zegula for maintenance. My CA125 dropped down to 11, but 4 months later at my checkup, that number shot up. Legions were found at the back end of my colon, on my liver, and on my psoas muscle.

Trying to get my health on track..
Had a

She has a whole series of gentle yoga specifically for post

abdominal
surgery recovery. I have found it helpful and it’s good that it’s very specific. Anyway just wanted to share. I’ll put one link here but she has lots from week 1-12 of recovery building up. hope it helps!

Link between adhesions and ongoing abdominal pain.
.20 years ago after several years of
abdominal
pain I had a total
hysterectomy
. They found that my abdomen was full of violin string adhesions. I was great for a short time then I started to have intermittent abdominal pain. Lost lots of weight.

advice
Over the last few years the pain has returned but after visiting GP all I get is the pain can’t be endometriosis because of the
hysterectomy
. I have had
abdominal
scan and was told everything ok. The pain is excruciating. I feel like I’m on my own and no one is willing to help me.

Abdominal Hysterectomy
However there was still residual tumor seen on CT scan and I have been booked to have
abdominal
hysterectomy
on 30th November followed by 2 more chemotherapy, avastin and parp inhibitors. I wanted to ask if anyone had hysterectomy and how was the recovery?

Bowel or endometrioma pain?
Hi I'm hoping someone can shed a bit of light on my pain. I have endo in lots of places in POD on ligaments and my bowel.I also have a 5cm endometrioma. I am down for surgery for hysterectomy as I have adenomyosis and endo extraction. I've opted out of a bowel resection as the waiting list is longer

New here and worried
Potted history. Regular wine drinker. Bottle a night, but recently cut down to 0 since 4 weeks. Have had history of RUQ pain, but it came and went. Has been constant for a month now. Also get lower pelvic pain. I had a hysterectomy with retained ovaries in 2014. I also have lupus and a carrier of haemochromatosis

Anyone tried Ryeqo?
Hello all, Im new here too… advised by my GP to try a forum for ideas and support for my Adenomyosis. I’m currently awaiting a hysterectomy. I was put on Ryeqo last September by my gynae consultant, who advised it was a last chance saloon & “miracle drug” that would solve all my problems! But it’s done

Any success with only one Lap surgery for DIE?
Hi ladies, hope everyone is doing as well as possible. I'm 5 weeks post op for my first lap for DIE, large cysts organs stuck together. All the good stuff. I've recovered pretty well and feel ok now. I'm on Utrogestan 200mg to hopefully stop my period and reduce chances of regrowth. I also take NAC,
