Sifrol hell
Hi, I am a 57yo lady. Maybe mid 2018 I was prescribed Sifrol aka Pramipexole, Mirapex etc to combat RSL whilst withdrawing from Slow Release Tramadol used for about 16 years for Fibromyalgia. I had NO idea at the time this drug SIFROL is harder to get off than opiates...unless you use opiate meds

Going Mad trying to find a cause for bad nights and days!
Hi everyone, I just feel as if I'm going crazy trying to find a reason why my legs are bad sometimes and not others. I have some nights when I am only awake once and a night like last night where I had about 90 minutes disturbed sleep through the night and up the rest! I feel as if there's some dietary

Adenomyosis and lower back pain.
I’m so relieved to have found this group after 3 years of undiagnosed increasingly bad pelvic & lower back pain. My story....After many GP & gynae appointments (transvaginal ultra sounds, hysteroscopy)I pushed for a laparoscopy to rule out Endometriosis on my other organs & found I had Adenomyosis.

Degenerative disc disease, degenerative joint changes, lupus and CKD
Over the past few months I have been experiencing chronic pain in my legs, shoulders, hands, back and neck. I have long been diagnosed with osteoarthritis, but when I was diagnosed with ckd, I was taken off Celecoxib and have been making do with Tramadol and Tylenol, and when the pain became too intense

Still trying to figure out the right combination
Morning all. I'm still trying to figure out the right combination of preventives and abortive medications for my migraines. I'm currently taking 80mg Propranolol twice daily in the sustained-release capsules, paracetamol 500mg x 2 when required, ibuprofen and Tramadol. I was previously taking Sumatriptan

Five month update
It's been 5 months since I started FECO (full spectrum cannabis oil). Since it's been a while since I've posted, I'll recap: my RLS was very severe. It affected me 24 hours a day. Unrelenting. I live in Mexico and tramadol is OTC here and i had to monitor my usage careful not to exceed 2000 mgs/24 hours

What do you guys use for medium pain relief?
Before all of this and what was probably a contributing factor I just took the usual medium prescribed pain killers (codeine 30/500) to manage injuries achieved while running out of talent on race tracks on motorbikes and the associated injuries. Similar injuries sustained in race cars and karts when

The Opioid Crisis - quite concerting!
As I’ve been reading through posts, I’m concerned that many of us fibro warriors are just prescribed highly addictive, liver&kidney damaging drugs, without being told more about the long term effects of heroin. Opioids are synthetic heroin. Morphine is heroin. Codeine is an opioid. Fentanyl is 50x stronger
