Tramadol works for me!
I’ve been taking Tramadol for a few years now with great success. The only hard part was getting a doctor to prescribe it to me. I took 100mg for a long time but after about 4 or 5 years my legs told me I needed more. My GP wouldn’t give me more so I had to go to a pain doctor. I now take 200mg and all

Extreme pain at bottom of my back.
Hi everyone. As some of you will remember, I had a total shoulder replacement last month and it is wonderful. I can't believe how fast it has become good enough to lift it up and I am now dressing myself for the first time in almost two years. I am going to have a knee replacement next year so am hoping

Pregabalin update
Hello and seasons greetings I’ve not posted on here for a while but thought I would end 2019 on a positive note. (For me anyway.) Anybody reading my back story will know the horrors of my experience of augmentation with ropinirole, followed by a tolerance of Tramadol. I moved onto Pregabalin 150mg

What should I do?
Well since the past 3 days now I've had an awful headache and it doesn't seem to pass. I've tried Excedrin and Panadol even the regular one too. I'm trying to avoid going to a doctor due to a low budget. Can someone help me out?. Just specifically my left side of my head hurts.

My GP said "What's Augmentation?"
So I went to see my GP today, I armed myself with my RLS book and printouts and told him about my awful symptoms and that I wanted to come off ropinerole and the horrid withdrawal effects I was experiencing etc. He questioned why I was coming off ropinerole and I told him that it has stopped working

Diaphragm endometriosis
Hi ladies, long post alert: I'm waiting for a lap to diagnose endometriosis for pelvic pain, but for about 6 months I've had pain in my upper-right abdomen and back around my right rib area, it also stabs up into shoulder and when it's bad it hurts to breathe in and out and can cause a tingly feeling

Opinion on TENS Machine
Hi everyone, So unfortunately Codeine just isn't doing anything for me anymore except just making me high and tired. Pain relief is non-existant. I really don't want to go on tramadol or anything stronger as I just won't be able to do my job. I was thinking about trying a TENS Machine, and I have an

Constipation! Hemorrhoids!
I guess I can add a new PD sign. I had colonoscopy at age 50 and again at age 60. Both times it showed internal hemos. But since the last colonoscopy they've moved. Now they're external and the itch is maddening. I have to drive 5 hours today to a medical conference required to keep my license

Tramadol
If tramadol is so bad, then why is it on the market? Sometimes I wonder if they make addicts , just to later take the meds away because they aren't good for us? Then why did you give them to us to start off????

Doctors not taking my concerns seriously
Hi everyone, I haven't actually been diagnosed with endometriosis but I have severe period pains. When I'm on my period it feels like a constant stabbing and I struggle to stand, I also vomit whilst I'm on due to the pain. It's not always been this bad but for the last 3 years it's unbearable. Normal

More than just tablets
First of all please know I totally sympathise with you and your suffering. In 1999 I was diagnosed with Fm,followed by OA , diabetes t2, and MRI scan showed Multi Level Spinal Stenosis. And High Blood pressure. Just recently I have suffered the worst muscle spasms ever and No Drug Eased the pain.

Tramadol
Has anyone been told that your Health authority is going to stop prescriptions Tramadol? My GP told me that everyone had to come off it, that they are not going to prescribe it anymore especially patients like myself who have been on it long term.

Exhausted
Hi all, hope you are keeping as well as can be. I'm truly worn out. Here is my typical day....... I go to bed anywhere from 11pm-1am. I play games on my phone until I drop off, not half hour later I'm up in agony with my feet kicking off. Tea and ciggie, back to bed, this happens all night every night

Unbearable pain
Hi guys, I had a lap to diagnose and ablate endo in August, got my follow up in a couple of weeks where I am going to insist I get referred to a specialist endo centre for excision, as I've had barely any relief from surgery. The last few days my pain is getting to an unbearable level. I've considered

Ropinerole not working after 10 years
Help! Where to go now? I haven’t posted for a while, mainly because my RLS has been tolerable. However in the last 3 months it has been unbearable, no doubt through augmentation. I am aware my dose of Ropinerole is way too high (3 x 1mg daily) plus 2 x 50 mg pregabalin. It’s my daughter’s wedding
