Help for RLS
I’ve been taking Tramadol for my RLS for seven years now and it really works. But now we moved from Florida to Wisconsin and the doctors here won’t prescribe it. This is my third day without Tramadol and I’m going crazy I know there are other things out there but who has one that really works for them

Aortic Valve replacement - The Op & 7 days after
Hi All, Further to my earlier post I am going to give you as much info as I can about the operation itself and my hospital stay. I had my Op at the end of October 2019 in the Bristol Heart Institute (part of the BRI). I was booked in for the first Op of the day, which was a relief, as I didn't fancy

Methadone
Hi Everyone. Has anyone living in the U.K. with severe restless legs been prescribed methadone.? If so what are the results.? I ask because I've been on Tramadol for about 2 years (4x 20mg at night ) and they seem to be losing their efficacy now. Any other advice gratefully received.

Since Jun 2014 after I was diagnosed RA, this is the second time I had flu during my holiday in China. I had fever but I did not see any doctor there, I merely had the panadol to control my fever. I came back home and had my appointment to see my rheumy 2 days ago, I had no further fever but I still

Suggestions, Opinions and Help
Hi everyone! I'm brand new here and just wanted to talk to some others who understand what it's like to live with fibromyalgia (FMS). I am 51 years old and was diagnosed 2 1/2 years ago. I was put on a medicine regimen of several medications - Tramadol (100mg/ day), Cymbalta (30mg/day) and Seroquel

Bulging disc
Hi, I have a bulging disc which is pushing on a nerve, I’ve had the injections that didn’t work, in fact it has made it worse, I’m now on crutches as I just can’t walk unaided. I’m currently on 900mg per day of pregabalin, 400mg of Tramadol, 1000mg of naproxen and I’m taking paracetamol. I’m waiting

CBD oil over $80 an ounce each week is worth it to me to stop RLS.
My cousin gives me a discount on my .3% THC CBD oil at $80 an ounce that last about a week or so for me. I'd say 5% is a lot! By the time I used CBD oil I was so miserable with RLS that I would have made any sacrifice to get relief. I pray u find a cheaper solution. I tried gabapentin, Requip, pamelor

Change of painkillers - advice needed!
Hi folks, I have been on Co-codamol 30/500 four times a day for two years but started having horrible headaches a few months ago so I tapered it off with a view to stopping it. My GP said most painkillers stop working after a while anyway. I managed to stop Co-codamol completely two weeks ago, no headaches

WELL OVERDUE UPDATE ON AS CLEAR AS MUD . . the saga continues 😩😩😩
Hello Hearties. For those of you who recall I was awaiting to see my consultant, I did but she couldn't figure out why my symptoms persisted even after using the GNT spray. So it was decided That I go for repeated tests and specifically a echocardiogram stress echo and then possibly a further angiogram

RA hangover after yesterday’s rugby World Cup final
Hey everybody! Haven’t spoken to you in a while. I’m so happy because South Africa won the rugby World Cup. I had a huge party, danced and sang for hours after the game, and I had some beer(not a lot). Today I have what I call an RA hangover(without the headache). My joints are hurting so badly after

Back in hospital -physically & emotionally drained. Surgery or persevere with injections?
So I’m writing this post from my hospital bed feeling like I’ve reached breaking point. It’s my 3rd time in hospital in 3 weeks due to the pain from severe endometriosis & chocolate cyst. Started hormone injections & HRT 3 weeks ago Each time they’ve tried different pain relief which works temporarily

Pain!!!
Hi everyone, I'm new to health unlocked but have been suffering with severe endometriosis for over 14 years. Since my last op (to remove the endo from my diaphragm and pelvic area) I have been suffering with excruciating pain! My pain threshold is usually quite good, like most of us I'm sure! I've been

Debilitating lower back pain
Since pregnancy - 49 years ago ! - I have suffered from lower back pain, initially fleeting and infrequent, for the past 2 years since a total knee replacement, persistent and very frequent. Chronic pain! I have had no benefit from facet joint injections, ablation, caudal epidural and stubborn attempts

Long before requip became the go-to drug for RLS I started out with tramadol 50 mg every 4 hours until I reach 200 mg luckily for me I had a doctor who kept up with the new drugs coming out. I give up.
Was diagnosed 6 years ago with superficial Endo. Just had a laparoscopy at St Thomas in London (BSGE) and no Endo was found. What the hell is wrong with me then? I am so frustrated. So so frustrated. I can’t even explain it. I am in pain 24/7. I get pain when I go to the toilet, when I have sex, when

Question about stopping pramipexole
I was so hoping that at this point (day 6 with no pramipexole) I would be able to say, "I did it!" but such is not the case. I started the process few weeks back, starting on gabapentin (300 mg) while staying on pramipexole (.5 mg). After a week, went on half a dose of pram. and up to 600 mg gabapentin

Sleeping Meds
Are there any sleeping medications that don't increase RLS symptoms? I have tried CBD and Melatonin but neither have helped. Over the counter meds and Amitriptyline made the RLS unbearable . I am taking Lyrica and Tramadol atm but they don't help with the sleeping thing. Many thanks in advance

I have had severe spinal pain for years. Two spinal ops (both worked for a time) physio and loads of meds. My pain is getting worse over time. Saw a chiropractor early on - wrong advice! I have stenosis, arthritis, spinal problems and fibromyalgia all causing severe pain also sciatica. Was taking morphine
