Returning to Gabapentin
After having an appointment with my GP I am about to go back to taking Gabapentin after suffering many side effects on Pregabalin. I switched to Pregabalin as the dose of Gabapentin (1200) I was taking had stopped working and rather than upping the dose, Pregabalin was easier to use as it didn’t need

Stuck with requip feeling hopeless
I am 58. I have been on Requip for 7 years. I had been on 1 mg and for the past two years have been on 0.5mg. I have not been able to reduce from 0.5 for any length of time. I also take gabapentin 600 2-3x day and tramadol 50 2x day though my scripts are for 3x day. My ferritin level is 160 with

Flare ups
Morning all, I’m suffering with yet another flare up after only just getting over one which lasted 4 weeks. It starts with my body ceasing up, so much so that I can’t move at all. I had to take tramadol and diazepam yesterday just to be able to get out of bed. I had to phone in sick at work. Last time

Nothing works
I'm taking 300mgs pregabalin. I've tried even more but it doesn't work. Even with tramadol 50mgs it does nothing.I can be walking around until 3.30 to 5.30. I've taken tonight my 300 pregabalin and 2 OTC ibobrufen and codeine. I've just taken 15 mgs codeine and a teaspoon of Kratom. I'm still rubbing

Costochondritis getting worse
I was diagnosed with costochondritis about a year ago , it’s getting worse as the months go by . Last weekend we were away and as I wasn’t doing all the usual housework I had a lovely pain free weekend . Since getting home and back to all the usual chores my pain has returned worse than ever . My bra

Tramadol and the covid booster.
I have my booster covid vaccine coming up in early January, but between now and then I will have several days of taking Tramadol (orodispersible
Zamadol
) for endo pain. Does anyone know how many days there should be, in between taking opioids and getting the vaccine?

Prostap update
Tomorrow will be 3 weeks on prostap, it’s been very up and down during these 3 weeks. I have lupus so my joint pain has been very bad needing to take extra meds on top of my slow release tramadol. Had nearly two weeks of not being able to do much but finally working out some kind of routine with it all

What next please after Tramadol
Hello Forum! After the experience of withdrawing from Ropinirole 7 years ago and having up to now enjoyed much needed sleep by taking 100mg of Tramadol unfortunately I feel the time has arrived to replace Tramadol . During the last 2 to 3 weeks the Tramadol has become largely ineffective so I am wondering

Diagnosis
Hi, the gynae has told me that my endo has come back and I’ll need a scan to confirm where etc. I’m just wondering how long the wait will be roughly. I’m in agony and tramadol, naproxen and paracetamol aren’t helping

Good news - I am done with PMR!
I want to share some good news... finally my PMR has left me after more than 6 years (December 2016 it began). I had been tapering for the last 6 months but never managed to get below 1mg and still had flares needing to take up to 5mg. I had been very stressed being in an unhappy and emotionally abusive

Ciprofloxacin Horror!
I don’t know where to start. I had been taking this drug for over a year until two days ago when I stopped it myself. I was prescribed it last April while in hospital with ARLD and alcohol hepatitis. I was very poorly and since recovered from it. My first blood tests after discharge were normal but

Tramadol + Gabapentin
I have been on 100mg Tramadol and 1200mg Gabapentin for about 8 years now (after all the DA’s and augmentation). This last year getting up once or twice a night has turned into 3+ times and some very bad evenings and I believe I have reached tolerance in Tramadol. I won’t increase above 100mg as I fear

Fibromyalgia nightmare
Crazy cat lady I have refused antidepressants to help with fibromyalgia pain. I take 6 paracetamol a day to take the edge off . I take a tramadol every other night so I can sleep. Does anyone have constant hip pain? I can’t get any relief at all . Wondering if I should have an X-ray to rule out damage

Short term ibuprofen
I have a lot of non-pmr pain, Tylenol isn’t cutting it, 1/2 tramadol makes me very ill with nausea and wooziness. My doc suggested I take a 5-7 day course of ibuprofen, providing the pharmacist said it was ok to do so while on prednisone. The pharmacist said yes, 5-7 days would be ok, but at the least

Tramadol
I’m amazed how much better I feel with my breathing after one Tramadol. Move better feel better and faster 🤷 My theory is it relaxes the chest muscles so they function better. Whatever it is fantastic Relief, actually running after ball whilst playing table tennis. Could be all in my head but what

Reducing pregabalin
I'm down to 175mgs pregabalin. Every time I reduce I have a terrible night. I'm sure it does nothing for me and it's the tramadol that stops the feeling. But not always. I try not to take tram every day so I take 1 OTC ibobrufen and codeine +Kratom a couple of times a week. I read about the doctor in
