Hi, Guys taking 300mg Pregabalin and 100 Tramadol at night in one go 2 hours before bed and sleep all night but has anyone o n these suffer joint and muscle pain and hardly able to function during the day might try going back on Gabapentin see if it makes any difference like a Zombie during the day ,God bless you all .

Unfortunately your muscle pain could be a side effect of either pregabalin or tramadol.

And you shouldn't stop either one suddenly. It will probably take less time to withdraw from the tramadol than the pregabalin. I doubt that switching back to gabapentin will solve the problem unless when you were on it you didn't have the problem.

I'm sorry to hear of the joint and muscle pain during the day. Presumably you didn't have these pains at all when on pramipexole?They may be a side effect of either tramadol or pregabalin. When you say you can barely function, is that because of the pain or because of daytime sedation?

Because of the pain got up this morning managed to the toilet but fell due to the pain lay on the floor for over an hour before an ambulance came for hospital now back home still the same I am sure it is the Tramadol or pregabalin but I sleep great on then and no restless legs .

I'm so sorry to hear this. Can your GP do some blood tests to rule out other things that may be causing the pain like Rheumatoid arthritis. To pass out because of pain is really serious. Please see your GP and get some tests and help. Maybe tweaking the meds may help. For example switching codeine for tramadol.

Thanks Sue sleep well but daytime murder going to ask doctor to switch straight switch over see what happens .
