I am looking forward to getting stuck into a daily Pilates practice replacing my current daily
Yoga
. For a long time I couldn’t decide which one I should really invest my efforts into. So next month I will replace my daily
yoga
with a daily Pilates. After that! We’ll just have to see!

VWBs: What apps do you use for S&F
Yoga
Poses is a little app I sought out to give me a quick visual dictionary of what all the
Yoga
poses are called! I do
yoga
(as most of you will know) with YWA YOUTUBE videos, but when describing flows, I often need to look up their name.

Feeling great!
A year later, I’m doing daily
yoga
or Pilates, I have a workout corner in the living room. My legs and arms feel so much stronger and bendier.

Alternative, non-medication treatment
I do a lot of biking, kayaking, paddleboarding,
yoga
, CrossFit, etc. and not sleeping because of RLS and CFS is now affecting my active lifestyle. I’ve taken melatonin to help me sleep but it isn’t working. I just got Skullcap and hope it will help me sleep.

Awesome on August...Week 4...The time is whizzing by!
I also had a wet picnic in the rain:)
Yoga
has taken a bit of a back seat, but leg and arm exercises were upped. I do quite enjoy Welsh rain... gentle and fine and it does bring out, in force my small hard shelled friends; they and I do enjoy, slow and steady!

What are your coping skills for your depression?
Yoga
/stretching/meditating 7. Playing the video game Tomb Raider 8. Enjoying a hot cup of tea or coffee/curled up in a fuzzy blanket! 9. Going for a walk or hike - just going outside helps. 10. Daydreaming if all else fails! - I hope this list helps!

PILATES: MVMT’s 30 day Journey
So Pilates focusses on recovery, core stability and conditioning and is likely to work with repetitions and bearing less of your body weight (in general) than
Yoga
. As one site suggests: “Pilates is based on movement; and
yoga
on both pose and stillness”.

A month of Pilates?
list=PLCflSzXfT_vLUqBf2e8vHZlX85kthY6E7 I fear that does mean I might skip my daily
Yoga
, coming back after that month hopefully stronger.

Exercise after cardiac ablation
Pre ablation I was doing 30 mins
yoga
and walking 3 miles + most days. I'm really looking for advice on getting back to walking and
yoga
. I've tried a couple of walks, but I'm tiring very fast. Thank you in advance for any advice.

Hip pain on one side - is it PMR?
It makes walking uncomfortable and you can feel the tightened muscles -
yoga
can help. Tried Bowen recently but it did nothing. I think it's called piriformis syndrome? It has got much worse over the past 6 months and I wonder if PMR is making it worse?

Acid reflux or something else? Feeling really down.
I also started doing exercise, corrected my posture, practicing
yoga
etc.. I would also do a 30 mins walk every morning. After two months, I lost few pounds and was feeling much better.

Home Holiday Running
A bit of rest and tea, and now off to do some outside
yoga
with hubby. A fabulous bank holiday. Having routes like these, an outdoor space to take my
yoga
mat, I feel I don’t need anything more and am more than happy making every day count, right here at Home. Happy “runny” bank holiday everyone!
