Bodyfit with Amy: Seated with Weights (Dumbbells) Workout
I needed a quick upper body workout to fit in after my
yoga
session, and wanted one with dumbbells, so looked towards classic Bodyfit with Amy. 15 min on a chair with a set of weights, and my back feels great!

chatGPT's opinion on PD - Simple and wise
Exercise: Regular exercise, such as swimming,
yoga
, and tai chi, can help improve mobility, flexibility, and balance, and may also have a positive impact on mood and quality of life.

18 months post brain haemorrhage and feeling terrified most of the time.
I am seeing a clinical phycologist, doing
yoga
, reading, walking my dogs, everything I should be doing but its all mechanical. I feel alone, sad, angry and useless. This really is an invisible disability as everyone thinks I look so well and therefore assume I am fine.

Vagus Nerve and Afib Questions
Hence it seems counter-intuitive to respond to this by deep breathing or other
yoga
breathing techniques designed to increase calmness and further stimulate the vague nerve and the parasympathetic nervous system.

like live FREE yoga?
if you are interested in a zoom chair,
yoga
class, my teacher is looking for students for a free class because she could lose her grant if she doesn’t have enough people. Very well versed in MS. Overall great class. Please lmk and I will give you her contact info.

Happy New Year. First Update 2023!
I have been back at
Yoga

Anxiety about health and sleep
I plan to talk to a therapist who can teach me some CBT techniques and I started to do mediation and a little
yoga
. Everyday is a struggle but I think things are getting better, whether it be the bump in SSRI finally kicking in or all of the other things that I’ve been doing for self-help.

HRT issues - Plus need to hear about experiences with testosterone
I'm trying to do
yoga
but struggling with strength and stamina. My muscle mass is non-existent I think. I'm now noticing cracking knees and some pain and I don't want to end up with osteoarthritis or something. My knee issues initially started about 8 years ago.

New to this...
The pandemic and then this injury impacted my gym going and
yoga
practice, but those have also been important, as have swimming and rowing. My doctor referred me to a rheumatologist who I will see in early April.

Recovering from gerd
There's a wealth of information and studies to support the brain/gut connection and once I began to address my anxiety (meditation, breathing exercises and acupuncture as well as reducing the high intensity exercise I was doing and incorporating more
yoga
and pilates based exercise) my symptoms massively

T3 update for @relentless
I managed a work out on Sunday,
yoga
Monday, college open day and parents evening in the same week. I’ve noticed the Dr Bavind Williams observation that if I eat sugars, I get an adrenaline rush with the insulin and am left exhausted. No sugar, no rush, steady energy.

15th educational conference in West Palm Beach, FL
I explored what was then called Alternative medicine (that included nutrition, exercise,
yoga
, etc.). Nowadays we applaud the value of these and much more. I founded Annie Appleseed Project from the summaries I wrote of the meetings held at SHARE by the Whole Health Study group.

Another run, and starting on Ankle Mobility Drills
So I told myself that for the next few weeks, I will explore how I could add some exercises and drills focussing on ankle mobility, and add them into daily activity, wether that is walking, running,
yoga
or doing household chores.
