Rainy day alternative

So... it's raining... and then there'll be rain... though, maybe, this evening, it'll be drier. What am I going to do before then, though?

Because my body wanted to move, I decided to see what YouTube has to offer and discovered this workout: youtu.be/IMctZ4i2FRw

I found it super fun! It reminded me a bit of the 7-minute workout. It's longer, though, and at times just as challenging. Yes, it's from a German instructor - and you don't need to know any German to do it because it's all visual. Mady uses the 10 second breaks between exercises to show the next one. And you don't need any shoes either! Though I left mine on for this round...

Now, I am counting this as a 3km walk. Or is that cheating? I figured that I run 4km in 30 minutes, so a 30 minute workout like that would be an equivalent of (at least) 3km.

Did I mention it's raining? 😉

🌧 ☔️🌧 ☔️🌧 ☔️🌧 ☔️

(In case you're wondering... there's a super long comment in German by the instructor, Mady Morrison... it sounds like she's a yoga instructor and some people got really mad because she dared to offer a cardio video... go figure! I just appreciate that she's offering this quality workout for free! And that's kinda what she's also arguing in that comment... )

Goodness, she made that look easy, I bet it wasn't! Did you do all of it? Yes at least a 3K walk, and a big pat on the back!

Fortunately, I didn't see the "this is not a beginners video!" comments until after I was done... 🤣 I did modify quite a bit as I tend to just jump into those kinds of videos I did that ad hoc.

This looks great! 3k at least!

I like the style of the videos and see that she has a 7 day Series! (Pic) The videos look so well put together.

So it has gone onto my bucket list of workouts to try.

I do find it great to change instructors at times. When I’m changing rowing instructors, I can tell that the slightly different way of explaining poses or movements or techniques can make all the difference when exploring one’s own.

7 day series

Let us know if you try any of the other videos, CBDB ! I am eying the Fat Burning HIIT - and it got cold but sunny here, so it might be a while before I get to try that on a rainy day...

As today it's forecast to rain all day, I dug this out again! What fun! I still can't do all of these 🤣 though I might've found a cross-train option 😎

For those who are following along with March MATness, you'll recognize some of the exercises 😉 (Wander over here if you want to know more about the matness: healthunlocked.com/strength... )
