Cortisol Test? - Autoimmune Thyroiditis
I am so desperate for answers as to why I can't seem to shift this severe anxiety, palpitations and fatigue since my Levo was tweaked. Yes I have a long history of these anxiety and panic problems which reared up as far back when I was a child because I developed a phobia of being sick, or anyone feeling

Hello everyone thanks for the join,
The problem is I have confirmed autoimmune
thyroiditis
(under active thyroid disease) arthritis and gluten/wheat intolerance I'm weighting for biopsy results to see if I'm also a celiac. I'm motivated to eat healthy and try and loose weight but mainly I want to feel well.

What's going on?!
She said I had
thyroiditis
?!! She checked my thyroid levels but said that most probably my bloods wouldn't show anything for up to six weeks. My thyroid levels came back better than they had been for years!! TSH was 2.0 and FT4 was 14!!

Lichen Sclerosus?
I have read a little about Lichen Sclerosus and it's described as autoimmune and there seems to be a suggested link with autoimune
thyroiditis
(Hashimotos). This is alos making my think I've probably got Hashi's. Am i way off base here? Is the treatment any different for Hashi's?

Initial serum thyroid peroxidase antibodies and long-term outcomes in SREAT
Abstract OBJECTIVE: To quantify clinical outcome in patients with steroid-responsive encephalopathy and associated autoimmune
thyroiditis
(SREAT) after the acute phase and explore potential associations of initial serum thyroid peroxidase antibody titers (TPO-Abs) with outcome.

Tackling the weight gain being hypothyroid
I’m Jan, 53 years old, self-employed, about 2 stone overweight, hypothyroid (Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
which is a version of hypothyroidism that means the antibodies attack and kill the thyroid, and there is usually some sort of inflammation involved) with a roller coasting weight gain/loss as a result

Report Conclusion The overall appearance of the thyroid gland is that of mild diffuse enlargement and increased vascularity suggestiing either graves disease or
thyroiditis
. A non-suspicious nodule is noted in each lobe. The nodules can be followed by progress examination.

hyperthyroid symptoms?
I have Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
. I have now been taking natural thyroid for nearly two years. I have had my cortisol levels tested (saliva test) and the result stated that my morning cortisol is too high at 50.2 (range 6.0 - 42.0) and my evening cortisol is 1.3 (range 1.0 - 8.0) borderline low.

GCA - Too young or not?
I also have two other autoimmune illnesses; Vitiligo (from 5 years of age) and Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
(from 40 years of age). Over the last 4-6 weeks my remaining skin pigmentation has all but gone. The Rheumatologist said that the anti-body test was negative!
