Zoladex Injections
Hi, I actually have Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
Underactive) and was wondering if anyone has had to take Zoladex Injections for endometriosis (it can also be given for breast and prostate cancer)? It is oestrogen based and I am scared it is going to mess my levels up - for once my levels are perfect.

Negligent endocrinologists should be hauled in front of GMC
It is there in black and white that she is suffering from Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
. Why can’t this endocrinologist be put in front of the GMC? He has behaved in a negligent manner and has not adhered to the Hippocratic Oath. I am truly appalled and disgusted. This behaviour is continuing.

Hashimotos help!
Hi, I have auto immune
thyroiditis
(hashis) and currently feel like I'm being choked. My TSH fluctuates but remains at the higher end of normal and so my GP and the endo I saw said they would not medicate because it would cause more harm than good.

Is it mainly Hashi sufferers who are unable to convert T4 into T3?
I have been wondering today if the faulty thyroid gene (DIO2) tends to cause Hashimotos
Thyroiditis
instead of Hypothyroidism. I guess there must be Hashi sufferers on here who are happily taking Levo (T4).

Glutathione and thyroid autoimmunity by Dr Eric Osansky DC
“The autoimmune thyroid conditions Graves’ Disease and Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
involve damage to the cells of the thyroid gland. Think of it as a war.

What do I do with my thyroid : (
It through me into
thyroiditis
and then a thyroid storm. It was horrific, but I survived. Now 2 and a half years later, having gone thru all ups and downs, am feeling completely misdiagnosed again.

Sub acute thyroiditis triggered by flu
Has anyone any experience of going through it? Particularly interested in what your thyroid blood levels are like 5 months + after the trigger. Part of me believes that my strugglin thyroid and hashimoto raised antibodies were caused by this. I wasnt tested until 4 months after a very bad sore throat

Thyroiditis
Hi GP thinks I’ve got this following a prolonged upper respiratory viral infection 6 weeks+ Then this terrible sore throat came out of nowhere. But it was really low down and on one side. GP can feel an enlargement of my thyroid gland and has done bloods. Have been trying to take pain killers for pain

T3 medication
I decided to go to a private endrocrinologist couple of weeks ago to go through past medical history and treatments etc... the Private Endro said it looks like its Hasimoto's
thyroiditis
and most likely to stay on 200mcg T4 with T3 Liothyronine and because I currently dont have any medical insurance

My Mental Health Symptoms gone - Changed my way of eating
It was diagnosed as Hypothyroidism, but in fact it turned out to be a long-winded named illness – Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
. All that Hashimoto’s
Thyroiditis
is = Hypothyroidism (low output of thyroid gland) plus thyroid gland antibodies.
