Can Hashimoto's thyroiditis cause asthma?
Has anyone else here had the same happen, diagnosed with
thyroiditis
and consequently discover they develop asthma too?

Are these normal test results for someone with Hashi?
I was diagnosed with post partum
thyroiditis
and even now that my thyroid levels are back to normal (but I still have thyroid antibodies, low white cell count, antinuclear antibodies in my blood) I dont feel well.

Lupus, hashi, or something else?
I gave birth 18 months ago and during that time I got sick with post partum
thyroiditis
(hyper & hypothyroidism). Now my thyroid levels are back to normal but I still have thyroid antibodies in my system. I went to the doctor because I just feel very "off" and not 100% myself to be honest.

From post partum thyroiditis to Hashi?
Let me give you a little run through of my situation; I was diagnosed with post partum
thyroiditis
about 3 months after giving birth. Was put on medication and that dipped my condition from hyper to hypo. Wasn't treated for hypo with any meds whatsoever.

Should You Be Avoiding FODMAPs?
There is evidence that celiac disease and gluten sensitivity play a role in triggering autoimmune reactions and conditions, including autoimmune thyroid diseases like Hashimoto’s
thyroiditis
and Graves’ disease.

Waiting for levo increase
Having been diagnosed late August with autoimmune
thyroiditis
due to a TSH of 107 I was never given an increase in levo from 50mcg until now. This was because my GP felt that as my levels were still falling, medication should not be increased until the improvement ceased which it now has.

Should I stop carbimazole
Saw endo a few months ago, am hyperthyroid caused by Graves’ disease or
thyroiditis
(difference of opinion with consultants!) He took blood and said he would ring me that day with results and to possibly reduce my medication from 10mgs daily to 5 mgs daily. . He didn’t!

Advised to stop levothyoxine- I thought this was a lifetime thing!? So confused
I was told then it was post partum
thyroiditis
- it didn’t go away and I took my medication right through this pregnancy until now. My doctor advised me I went through a classic case of post partum
thyroiditis
once again this time round .

Help - GP won't diagnose Hashimotos based on elevated TPOAb
I posted my blood test results last week and while I currently have 'normal' thyroid results, my
thyroid peroxidase antibodies
are above range indicating autoimmune Hashimotos
thyroiditis
(which matches my symptoms).

Private blood test results
Following a very frustrating gp visit where I told her all about my symptoms, my family history of both Hashimotos
thyroiditis
and pernicious anaemia and still somehow left with nothing but a pat on the head I decided to have my own blood tests done.

Confused - Don't Know what's going on
My endocrinologist said that whatever was going on didn’t seem to be my thryoid and recommended I go antidepressants for anxiety, despite my thyroid ultrasound mentioning suspected
thyroiditis
. My Vitamin A, Zinc and Vitamin D were low at the time, but B12 was apparently normal at 316.

NICE Response to my complaint!
True diagnosis should be: Autoimmune
thyroiditis
, possibly with hypothyroidism, and should be treated accordingly.

Hi I am new and I have been told by a GP I have tested positive for autoimmune
