I have been struggling a while, I had a scan which revealed thyroiditis and a small grade 2 cyst. Drs won't give me any support as bloods are normal.

hello I’ve been getting hot , painful throat /thyroid , chest and behind ears , hurts on every movement, even to breath in , very sensitive, could this be thyroiditis, I have had this a lot before but doctors don’t do nothing , it’s very uncomfortable, I have nodules and hashimotos , try to explain it

I thought I was starting peri menopause and gp sent me for bloods and turns out I'm in hyper stage of postpartum thyroiditis T4 is 24 (not high compared to others I've read abt) but my TPO antibodies are >1300 Serum TSH <0.03 Gp has told me to take 40mg propananol daily and waiting on an urgent referral

However, after a FNA and core biopsy this was subsequently diagnosed as Thyroiditis.

Hi, I have not posted on this site before, usually other sites as have an autoimmune type of ataxia. But I would like to understand more.My question is probably simple. Is thyroid problems due to an autoimmune response and do you all rely on medication to keep your thyroid in balance? Does anyone eat

Hi all I'm due to start taking Carbimazol today. The Endocrinologist advised my Gp to prescribe it because the wait for an urgent endo appointment will be 8 weeks plus. I'm not very good generally at taking tablets Paracetamol for headache is generally my limit, as I get worried about side effects.

I have hashimotos thyroiditis and high cholesterol. I know the two conditions are linked. My GP wants to start me on statins as I recently had a retinal vein occlusion, possibly caused by high cholesterol. My BP is not elevated. Are any of the members here on statins with the same disease ?

I take 75mcg Lovothyroxine but it doesn't seem to be enough as I've started having the symptoms of the Hashimoto's Thyroiditis that I was diagnosed with some years ago. I was diagnosed with heart failure and AF a few years ago and take a lot of heart medication.
