How do I safely come off levothyroxine?
I had acute
thyroiditis
caused by a virus in October 2015. I started out with hyperthyroid, was very sick, lost weight (I am a already slight build so became under healthy weight), and had to take beta blockers to calm my high heart rate.

Labwork normal... but I have swollen thyroid! What's going on? Hashimotos? Please help.
TSH 1.26 Free T4 1.1 (0.8-1.8) Free T3 (T3-RIA) 3.1 (Range 2.3-4.2) My doc said
thyroiditis
- which only seems to mean inflamed thyroid. Said he suspects Hashimotos - Can you have Hashimotos with perfect bloodwork? Are these numbers as perfect as they seem to me?

When I was diagnosed it was due to having a goitre and I'm sure I was told it was hashimotos
thyroiditis
. Any help would be really valued - as I want to make a doctors appointment to challenge him but would like to hear your views on whether I'm being ridiculous

Thyroiditis, Doc suspects Hashimoto's - what should I expect? Was your thyroid lump painful?
Hey everyone, I'm pretty new here. I had posted a couple months ago because my hair had been falling out, I suspected a thyroid issue for many reasons but all my lab work came back normal. Here I am 2 months later and I went to a new primary care practitioner because I had a sore throat with a lump

Hyper symptoms and normal test results, please help interpreting
The appearance suggests a diffuse
thyroiditis
. FNA not performed. So I'm completely stuck as to what to do next. The endo and GP don't seem concerned despite my clear and ongoing symptoms.

advice on NHS care
I was recently diagnosed with autoimmune
thyroiditis
based on my antibody levels, but have "normal" thyroid function and hence have not started any treatment.

Have a large benign nodule (irregular edges) and smaller nodules and two episodes of

But that is how I started off and it needed an endocrinologist to interpret my results and diagnose my
thyroiditis
which led to hypothyroidism.

Can I please ask some advice?
She said that it was very enlarged and that the coarse texture looked like it was caused by
thyroiditis
. At this point they hadn't had the antibodies result. Does anybody have a similar experience? I am very symptomatic and it's been far from a pleasant journey.

Raised prolactin
When it was removed the surgeon said there was clear signs of
thyroiditis
in that left side. After 7months of struggling after the op the gp put me on 50mg of levothyroxine even though my levels were within normal range but just at the lower end.

Help with sister's results
But that is how I started off and it needed an endocrinologist to interpret my results and diagnose my
thyroiditis
which led to hypothyroidism. Any opinions on my sister's results below? Should she ask for T3 to be tested. Should she ask for referral to see an endocrinologist?

Results from Blue Horizon
The finding of a positive thyroid antibody result in addition increases the possibility of your having autoimmune thyroid disease, such as Hashimoto's
thyroiditis
or Grave's disease. The ferritin level is high.
