I’d love some advise if you suffer passing out or severe dizzy spells when in AF?
Diagnosed with paroxysmal AF 8 years ago that didn’t really affect my life over next 5 years did Zumba 3 x week, daily big walks &
swimming
. AF increased as did medication so gave up all the usual AF no no’s. 18 months ago I passed out.

Did you notice greatly improved stamina after AVR(Aortic Valve Replacement)?
Maybe a little bit
swimming
, but almost too minor to notice. I'm just worried that these cardiologists might have had other motives, as the final bill to my insurance was about half a million dollars! (I'm in Texas.)

Advice/reassurance needed please!
I'm really missing my
swimming
too which I'm convinced helps strengthen my legs. What do you reckon? I've come so far and am finding this so de-motivating.

AF and cold water swimming
I have been sea
swimming
4 or 5 days a week and as the water has got colder, reducing swim time to 10 minutes. I've not been since AF started and wondering if it would be safe for me to do so.

Back to Couch ☹️
Just done W7R2 and then got a foot injury (from open water
swimming
not running). I cant walk let alone run so am currently confined to couch. I am gutted. I was so close. Am guessing I will need a week, if not more, rest. Anyhow it’s done so i’m planning for my return - do I have to start again?

I have always loved Spin / Studio Cycling Classes, I cracked the
swimming
discipline. Now for the running, which should be the most intuitive, but I haven't done it. C25K is now on the table.

Worried I may have GCA
A week ago, as I was getting ready for bed, I had intense pressure in my head, which felt almost too heavy to hold up, and the room was
swimming
around me - I became extremely clammy, and I barely made it to bed without fainting.

Started
swimming
after a long wait (my estradiol levels were super high) and today is day 2. I started to panic about injecting an air bubble while trying to give myself my menopur this evening and was looking for some answers online which led me here.

Upper body exercises
My first cardiac arrest happened when I was
swimming
. I used to be able to swim for 2km within 60 minutes, alternating breast stroke & front crawl. What upper body exercises would you recommend to get me back to this level? I need to start small I think.

Swimming. Good news.
I found a small (3 lanes) private pool 10 minutes from home. 83C. Salt. Super Covid practices. I am in heaven.

updates from last post, warning: long, sorry!
I went from only being able to do one to three light things a day to being able to go throughout the whole day, most days: cleaning the house, going to the park or
swimming
, and running an errand or two maybe in the evening.

Merry Christmas from a very hot Perth
Christmas lunch tomorrow is at my brother’s so there will be air conditioning and a pool - not that I can go
swimming
with my moon boot. I saw my EP yesterday who is happy with everything - BP, heart rate and rhythm all perfect. We had a good chat about COVID-19 vaccines.
