Travelling to Sheffield tomorrow, admission at 2pm on Wednesday for
surgery
on Thursday. My daughter and son in law are taking me and staying in Sheffield while I am in hospital. I am nervous and excited all at the same time. Will update when I can.

daft question, but I'm puzzled!
I haven't changed meds yet as
surgery
still haven't had thr letter from the hospital. Interestingly if I am on a course of oral Pred, the pains in both the legs and arms will go away. I have got widespread osteoarthritis and one of thr latest blood tests was to check for any autoimmune activity.

mom has been intubated for 2 weeks almost
She had emergency
surgery
a week ago and after that her pupils were unequal. They did a CT and it came back negative of any issues. They have turned off sedation for a day at a time but then have to start fentanyl back up for some reason of sorts.

radiation treatments led to perforated colon?
Would the knowledge have inclined me toward
surgery
? I don’t know. But, I would have made a better informed decision. And, likely tried to anticipate and avoid the perforation with lots of liquids and a diverticulitis diet.

🍏What is next?
I cannot run in the short term as I face
surgery
& recovery but I can look ahead and plan what happens next. You may have just completed HU10 or a 5k race… and living in the happy aftermath but what’s next? As MissUnderstandingstates never quit Questing!

EOD on the NHS?
This is a busy
surgery
in a large town and I know they give a lot of B12 injections, but it makes it very clear that anything less than 2 or 3 months is very rare, and forget about EOD on the NHS?

After ADT
My 72 year old husband had radical, robotic
surgery
7 years ago. PSAs were 0 until 2 years ago, then barely detectable. Had the special PET scan, 3 spots lit up in lymph nodes, (in the area, none remote.) Had 6.5 weeks radiation therapy. Had 2 years of Lupron/Zytiga/steroid.

Back to gp to ask about last thyroid bloods🤦
Hi everyone ❤️ So I posted a couple of days ago about the abysmal treatment by my
surgery
in me getting new thyroid blood tests 🤦 First I should point out my surgeon in Liverpool requested these thyroid bloods because (1) , I've been off thyroid medication since January 31st (no thyroid) I had a 4D

IVF transfer protolols (adenomyosis / endometriosis)
I have had some issues with fluid in the cavity which they are hopefully now treating (I have
surgery
planned to treat a defective c section niche from first pregnancy), but I also have mild adenomyosis / endometriosis and hard to say which is driving the failures.

Pathologic fracture of Iliac crest
Such a complicated journey...but essentially after successful spinal stenosis
surgery
in March,Ienjoyed a few weeks of good health and mobility. I continued Piqray and had to start metformin. In May, I began experiencing increasing pain in my right hp where the cancer is located.

PSA now undetectable with 2 of 35 radiation treatments left.
Post RP
surgery
PSA was 35 (higher than what it showed before
surgery
). This was last August. Started Firmagon in September, Lupron in December. I feel more comfortable discussing my treatment with my doctors from the knowledge I gain here. Still more to learn and more questions to understand.

endo, laparoscopy and c-section
I’m concerned that having the lap before could throw my cycle out of wack (although very painful it’s really regular which I’m hoping fertility wise is a good sign) there’s also a strong possibility that I will need to have a c section if we do get pregnant due to damage done to cervix after a
