I have been monitored throughout my life and knew I would eventually need
surgery
. I got told last week that my valve is now critical and needs replacing soon. I waiting for a referral to a surgeon.

surgery before chemo
hi all My mums been diagnosed stage 3 HGSC - and the treatment plan has been determined to be
surgery
before chemo. My understanding was that chemo first was preferable - has anyone else had it in this order? (know I should trust the doctors but am overthinking a bit here!

Aqueous Shunt surgery recovery
I had
surgery
5 days ago to insert an Aqueous Shunt in my left eye. I would be interested to know if anyone else have had this
surgery
and how the recovery period has been for them. The eye has been a bit sore and has the usual foreign body scratchy feeling.

I will try to schedule physical therapy and gather meds pre-

ET and Successful Hip Replacement
I am 5 weeks out from my
surgery
and doing great. I was able to have the
surgery
where I see my MPN specialist. I was nervous, given this was my first
surgery
since diagnosis 10 years ago. I sailed through with no complications, and my recovery and physical therapy is going well.

earlier and was told that they have heard nothing from them, perfect service.

Prednisolone and surgery
My problem is that I have to have "major abdominal
surgery
" in the summer. The colorectal surgeon wants to do it ASAP but not until I'm down to 5mg, which should, according to the timetable, be end of June.
