Over Exercise?!!!
Plan now is to be on Tocilizumab injections asap with further reduction of
steroids
. My question is regarding exercise. I forgot to ask the consultant when she showed me the results of PET Scan ( Dec.) with evident inflammation of the aorta. Inflammation down now CRP 10 and ESR 27!

Very High blood pressure
Has anyone else had very high blood pressure from
steroids
or possibly stress of having PMR? I’m currently tapering from 15 to 14 mg over 4-5 weeks.

and antibiotics another two times. Last time was beginning of January.

Steroids, statins, strange query
I was put on 80mg Atvostatin mid Aug following a TIA/Afib episode and diagnosis. From mid September I started to suffer an intermittent throbbing, burning pain on the ball of my foot and last three toes. It comes on suddenly such as during the short 1 mile walk I’ve just completed. Bloods in Sept showed

Advice and some reassurance please
I want to up my
steroids
back to 15mg to get rid of this pain but feel so guilty that if I do I am self-treating a condition the medical team does not 100% believe I have.

Esomoprazole and ablation recovery
To add insult to injury I had diarrhea last night and now concerned it's the esomoprazole as this was given to me because lansoprazole did the very same thing when I took it with
steroids
a couple of years ago. Has anyone else had these problems, if so what did you do to help them?

Please share any experience of meds to try and prevent osteoporosis especially Zoledronic acid and Romosozumab
Because the risk is so high given my age (young at 63 but post-menopause) and long-term
steroids
I may be eligible for Romosozumab which is quite a new treatment. I'm going to contact the Royal Osteoporosis Society but in the meantime thought I'd see if anyone else has any experoence to share.

Teva being issued in Hillcross boxes!
I’ve had a few health issues since I got them, chest infection and a course of
steroids
and antibiotics and a bout of AFib so I took my eye off the ball. I had IBS symptoms for 2 weeks and put it down to antibiotics.
